Is this a woman's wallet?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 11:36 am

I'm helping my older sister move and she found her old wallet and gave it to me, but I'm thinking it's a woman's wallet it is Liz Claiborne. The problem is I like it. :cryvaultboy:

Here's some pictures to judge for yourself:

Give a round of applause to my little nephew for taking the pictures, nice view of his (my old) video game collection in the back. :P

I never knew there was such a thing. I mean, it wouldn't be my first choice if I was trying to look especially 'manly' but there's nothing wrong with it

I don't think so. I mean, the only sort of thing like this I consider to be inherently feminine is a handbag. A wallet's a wallet, if you ask me.

Of course even if it is a woman's wallet, you should carry it around proudly to show everyone you're in touch with your feminine side.

It's not a plain, featureless lump, so it can't be manly. :teehee:

Anyway, it's fine. Now if it were pink, with a big strap, and frilly zippers, then it wouldn't be manly.

A bit too dark to see, but a bit to big for a man to carry in his back pocket. So I say it's a woman's wallet.

So +1 with the ladies who like sensitive guys :shifty: but -1 with the bros.

If it's Liz Claiborne, then yes it's a women's wallet. It doesn't look overly feminine, but I'd remove any logos xD it's a rather bad store for aging women who want to dress young. At least that's how they are here.
(Oh no offense to your sister :D)

most women's wallet are generally that big. there is a mans wallet that long but its taller, slender, and opens more like a book while womens wallets like this one opens like an envelope.

Makes one wonder how a woman would carry it around.

It's actually not as big as the pictures make it look, it fits well in my back pocket.

My mind is absolutely blown that people are even capable of designating something as a "girl wallet". It worries me that it's possible at all for people to be that insecure, let alone that it's apparently common.

Just use it. If you manliness is in question, lie that you stole it from Medusa or something.

Would you still use it if someone said "aw, your wallet is so cute" ?

back pocket? isn't it easier to get pinched from there? I always carry mine in a front pocket.

It could be a gateway wallet to the use of a 'manbag' if it's too big.

People still carry wallets around now-a-days? I haven't carried a wallet since I was 13. Money stays in my pockets, ID stays in my car. That way it's virtually impossible for someone to pickpocket my money since they'd have to shove their entire hand inside my pocket to get to it. I've always kind of viewed wallets as an out-dated concept.

I need Student Card, Id Card, Bank Card etc on a regular basis

In other words, I need something to hold the cards, it may as well be a wallet.
