well, im sure most of you people remember gaenor from tribunal... that beggar-bosmer who becomes a god-like warrior in just a day or two?

then in oblivion we met glarthir... that paranoid schizo who thinks all of skingrad is conspiring against him...

...and finally, the only HARMLESS crazy bosmer i've seen, thurindil, who lives in anvil.

im just curious if bethesda will keep up this trend of placing insane bosmer in the games, i'd personally LOVE to see another gaenor... i mean, not one of you can say that fight with him wasnt difficult or fun [unless you cheated]... hell, gaenor was probably one of the most difficult fights in the history of TES... i wish the bosses were that much fun!

i wonder what else they could give us in terms of insane bosmer... im sure they could think of something, but does anyone here have ideas for those mental ward escapees?

i'd kinda like to see a bosmer suffering from the same condition smeagol/gollum from lord of the rings was... some serious schizophrenia, talking to himself, even when in a conversation with you, and maybe even have a little quest to help him get something back that belonged to him [similar to fargoth and his ring in morrowind, but a real quest] only to go completely ape-[censored] on you when finishing the quest. :laugh:

They like to add annoying as hell types of bosmer's as well xD

You forgot to mention the annoying fan :/, though he is just more annoying than say insane but he could be crazy in his admiration for the arena champion. But yeah I agree whats Elder scrolls without these nutty Bosmer?

You know, I'm surprised we haven't seen an asylum yet. I'd like to see an asylum of some kind, should make for fun stuff.

I would like to see a lore accurate portrayal of the race at some point to be honest.

exactly. While I really hate bosmers, I'd love to be able to take them seriously. I don't want any races to be generally a joke. As I said one insane bosmer is fine, but the rest of the race should have some actual cool people

gaenor was definitely no joke, if ya ask me...

i never had a problem taking bosmer seriously, sure they are the only race with insane people shown so far, but the other races have oddities among their ranks... in morrowind there were several naked nords, tricked by witches, indicating that nords were idiots with no hope of common sense.

im sure you can look at the other races and see some common things that you could make fun of.

its probably just that the bosmer are a bit more obvious with theirs, i suppose.

Or maybe that fact a lot of them looked like they had various flavored ice cones on their head, or that you met few important bosmers who werent in some way weird. OR that they all looked sorta swollen in their faces... just plain weird.

Would be funny if there was a crazy Bosmer with messed up make up on that would be in a hospital mumbling about blowing the place up, or locked up in the psychiatric wing.
