Does anybody know where to find those screen shots that were in the background at the VGAs during the announcement of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? It had snowy mountains and the sort.

I've got the reveal DVRed, already re-watched it several times. That being said, the snowy mountains are simply snowy mountains. You can probably find it on YouTube.

no it has a diverse environment but its a new zealand look (lord of the rings) pretty sure...

Were they screenshots or was it merely a generic mountain backdrop they found somewhere? The video I saw was filmed from within the venue, and so was too blurry for me to tell.

Oh, I know this. I didn't say all of it, did I? If I remember correctly the middle and southern middle of Skyrim have a lot of mountains.

They aren't generic mountains, but they also aren't directly from the game. It was made for the reveal. It does look cool with the moving fog and stuff though

I believe that the mountains in that video are part of the opening cutscene.

Most of the trailers had their own set design pieces. I don't believe there was any secret significance to the piece, I think it was just there for environmental purposes.
