it is simple, when looking for public just make sure you change it to competitive for 5v5 no bots or old skool for 8v8 no bots. seriously you might have to search for 1 or 2 games but after that i pretty much always get a good connection now. I swear the lag comes from having those [censored] bots in play. old skool and competitve should be standard and big team

im pretty sure someone else also said competitive was a temp way round lag but i still see people saying they lag too much. try it and see if it works for you? ive moved onto old skool so i can get more than 5v5 sometimes it will be low on players near start but it fills up most the time. If more people use this playlist it will def fill up faster and we can enjoy brink more

Competitive and old school are the best settings to go online and play multiplayer with few to no bots and little lag.....for me anyway

Yes i agree with what you said but this game was designed to play 8v8 and be a more MP game it shouldnt have this much lag its makig it unplayable

Tried this on Friday and worked well. Since then its gone backwards. Just tried to play some more and gave up. It was impossible to get a lag free match. Shame.

yeah this morning i got lag in the playlists but it sorted itself out in afternoon. Also yes a MP game should not have these problems, which is why games now a days should be testing with closed or open betas! that you get from signing up or whatever. They should also be using [censored] dedicated servers!

none the less brink is pretty fun, just think how good it would be if they had done it all properly right from the start....we can dream for it to be patched to that? or even learn from mistakes in brink2?
