Thought about Sotha Sil

Was Sotha Sil missing his legs before Almalexia killed him?

All of the tapestries in the game depicting the Clockwork King portray him as legless and hovering in the air.

I seem to remember that sotha sil was gravely injured (even with his mighty god powers) in his and Almalexia's fight against (dagon or Molag Bal? I forget) over Mournhold.

I'm thinking it is possible that he simply used the opportunity (this was still in the first era,) to make some upgrades.

He became.... the Bionic God.

Dunno. Looks like it. He has his mark on it, though.

Anyway, Sotha went insane long beore he died. I bet his godhood caused it, just like it did to almalexia and ...(naah, won't go there again ).
Sotha seems to have become obsessed with creating the perfect being, perhaps he thought that was some kind of "duty" of a "god". Perhaps that was what he was doing to himself.
Or maybe he wanted to achieve some kind of CHIM-esc-state (as in sovereignty, I suppose I mean, or a word like it) through scientific means.

EDIT: On a side note, where is the Vehk sign on that image? I can't find it.

She is wearing her war mask, just like the Ghost Fence architecture. And they all have their heads on fire.

I was not talking about Vivec-Vehk, I mean the letter V. I think I can see it now, however. Half hidden behind his right arm.

Oh, I know what you mean. I think it's on his waistcloth type thing, yes half hideen behind the right arm holding sword.

About the thing that Sotha Sill is hovering over- could it be the simulacrum egg?

He may just have done what every other mages do and use CE levitation all the time and his legs shrank from lack of use.

I think the head on fire thingie is just the dunmer's equivalent of christian halos. That or when they had a painter make their portraits for the shrines, they all agreed that it would look cool to set their heads on fire, because they're all vaguely insane.

Actually from what i hear Sil lost his legs when he and Alma were fighting Mehrunes Dagon when he popped up at Mournhold.

No. He was alive and well after that and she was the one that was worse for wear.

right because Fyr is 4000 years old that MUST make him Sotha sil.
OR, Fyr, as we have all heard and know, is an extremely powerful mage and has found a way to extend his own lifetime. after all, he did find a way to cure the bad side affects of corpsus right?

What made Sotha Sil so important as a god? What did he do that was so special? Both Amalexia and Vivec traveled around everywhere and took care of all the sick and needy people. As far as i know Sotha Sil didnt do much. But I havent really read up on this information. Better do it now!

Sotha Sil was an active member of the Tribunal. He went into seclusion earlier than the other Tribunes.

But he did do things that many would have seen by many or at least heard about; he taught members of the Psijic Order in person at Artaeum, He aided Almalexia in the banishing of Dagon at Mournhold. He was active in the war against the Cyrodiilic Empire, at least for some time anyway... and various others things.

When you're a god, you're not bound by the petty restraints of mortality and reality anymore, Sotha Sil may have done many things that are unknowable to the normal mundus-dependants but effected countless people regardless.

Actually what I do is see patterns. I see actions, events and see the irrational or things that dont make sense. Sotha Sil dying to me doesnt make sense. Im not in love with him. I dont care one whit for him or about him, or vivec, or amalaxia.

Sotha Sil's pattern of behaviour was one of inquisitiveness, curiousity and striving for knowledge. All of a sudden they make him out to be a "woe is me, I want to die" depressive. That doesnt fit. I see the Dyvith Fyrr Character and how he's portrayed and I say...thats How Sil seemed to be. I see two very similer characters and I start thinking about events and how each character deals with their events and I get to Sils Supposed death and I go....this is not right (not that he dies, or that he can be killed, but like if you add numbers up and you look at the total and you think...this doesnt seem right, you re-add and you get the actual number).

Edit: and that Daedra Pact bothers me too. What was his side of the bargin and why do the princes still (Appear) to adhere to it. I propose that Sil was feeding them heart power in a sort of Tributary system. Thats why he had to recharge so often. Thats why Azura was pushing the Neverine Agenda so much because Dagoth would have severed their supply line.

His death doesnt add up and I question it. Im not the first, I wont be the last. It seems staged. It smells of rotten fishysticks and dammit Im gonna find the answer!

Fyr is actually a happy person and extroverted to some extent. To me the who "woe is me" holds some merit if you look at his "last words" somewehre in the TIL

Didn't he also try to stop the assassination of the last Reman Emperor?

He was the first to speak to the Dunmer people after their change, soothing their fears and convincing them it was a good thing. They loved him and regarded him as a great speaker for that.

He slowed it down significantly, if nothing else, in grand fashion.
