Does anyone else wish there was an option to spare Miraak at the end of Dragonborn's MQ? I mean all the poor guy wanted was to go home. He didn't strike me as overtly evil. Crazy: yeah...but evil? He seemed to me, as much a victim as Septimus, or anyone who's ever been duped by a Daedra. What do you guys think?

To be honest, I was expecting Miraak to win the fight and get back to Nirn and the player had to hunt him down on Solstheim to stop him and finally defeat him. I was kind of disappointed by the ending to the DLC because of it. I was really looking forward to seeing Miraak rising up on Solstheim and fighting both the player and the dragons.

He wanted to rule Tamriel. No one send an assassination team after me and gets away with it.
