Thoughts on best Class for Imperial? : Othor Games

I'd love to hear everyones thoughts on the best Class for an Imperial, and Why?

Personally my Imperial for beta is going to be a Templar - Probably DPS/Tank for the reason i already have a DK, I personally think their best class would be a DK because they seem like their traits are a bit more in favour of that class, But can see them being great for Templar and possible nightblade also.

So i started my Imperial and noticed that the only choice of weapon is the 1h sword. Is this just me? Or is everyone else only getting the one choice?

I believe imperial will be a great template for a NB.
Improving and prolonging survivability.
Going to roll one myself
