Agreed with OP. Crysis 2 is a game to be reckoned with even as is in dx9. Black ops is a good and fun game, but crysis 2 just kicked it's ass.
Not in my opinion. Crysis 2 is just Call of Duty meets Halo. It took the health pools and weapon damage from Call of Duty along with kill steaks(what the frack?!), with the mindless closed in single player campaign from Halo with some semblance of story and very little exploration outside of a few pieces of paper.

Crysis is VERY similar to CoD, and this is mentioned in just about every review. All those reviewers can't be wrong. They all agree the game looks great and is fun, but it is most definitely a close copy of the cod setup.

I hope that Crytek find their own identity in their next MP installment and make something unique. None of this herpderp killstreak sh*t. We need a re-designed version of wars, but with less bugs, less hackers and the option to enter shorter games.

Rewarding a player who killstreaks with more easier ways of killing is unbalancing and that's where I think Crysis 2 is better. At least in Crysis 2 you have to collect the dogtag, so you cannot call strikes more often than you kill.

I bought BLOPS today, i got it at christmas too but i has a problem with steam and wasn't able to finish the SP and had to throw it away, so i decided i wouldn't get another copy till the price went down, five months later and we have it again.
Playing it on my 580 it uses(still on beginning levels in Cuba) 650MB VRAM and a pathetic 40% GPU usage.
Anyways i like the COD series for SP fun, i was looking to get away from C2 for a while, so yeah COD for SP, and C2 for MP.

Yeah, I think Crytek killed the story when they made Alcatraz silent and killed Prophet off. I would have much rather you play as Prophet and talking to others. Alcatraz doesn't talk to people and it just kills it.

Alteast you get free map packs, unlike the shocking MW. DICE will offer the old remade maps for free.

Correct me if i'm wrong (and i'm not) in Crysis 2 if you die before collecting the dog tag does it not stay there for a minute or two? In CoD if you die you start from scratch. Besides there is a perk that collects dog tags is there not?
