My thoughts on future DLC (May contain spoilers !)

So i just finished my first playthrough of the (great) game and i have to say that so far i′m pretty pleased with the it !!!

Although im still fully addicted to the world of Fallout 4 there are some things i would have wished for while i was playing and i was a little disappointed to not have it in the actual game.

What i heard was that the upcoming DLC(s) will be made considering user feedback so i wanted to post my first thoughts about this topic here.

1: After fighting Kellog i was really happy to find some implants in his remais , hoping to be able to get some myself later in the game .

When i first entered the (technologically advanced ,clean , high tech , hospital like area of a certain faction u should be able to guess which i′m talking about) Ins...... my thoughts were : "Alright !!! Let′s find some medician and get some of these sweet augmentations for my character" . Concerning that New Vegas offered this possibility i was absolutely disappointed finding no such thing in F4 especially after "finding the technology"in the game .

I would really like to see this opportunity in the future . IF that is somthing the developers would think about , please go ALL THE WAY and consider to have such implants / prothetics VISIBLE on the players character (like mechanic limbs for accuracy + strenght , prothetic eyes for accuracy , night vision , some kind of "life detection" , NPC reactions related to them etc.)

2: Maybe i didnt figure it out yet but my impression concerining Synths was that , after i killed one i wasnt able to move /carry his body because synths seem to be too heavy (maybe this comes due to a lac of strenght , in this case please forgive me ) . In my case i decided to choose side of the Br......... ("our heavy mechanic suit wielding friends" ) and shot the "nasty old man" later in the game (oh evil me !!!!!!). It turned out that i also have not been able to carry HIS body .. so to me it seemed clear that he put up a show , making me think i finally got him and that he will return bevore i would finish the main quest line . i know that this is definetly not a DLC for everybody because some people might have chosen otherwise but just for your consideration i decidet to write down this "comeback-theorie".

3: Something i thought about creating by myself after the construction kit comes out : "Evil-people-vault" Imagine a cryogenic vault like the one our character started his adventure full of the evilest scummbags you can imagine . Maybe another social experiment by vault - tec to see how these convicts would act after finding themselves in another world. Maybe imagine 5-8 of them starting their "business" in the commonwealth , happy about the new oportunities they′re given . One becomes a chief - Raider , another a crazy murderer in the swamps , maybe one of them becomes actually a "good person" and your companion (or even more evil than you are yourself .. ) , another one breaks into other vaults infecting the inhabitants with "wasteland diseases" or something like that. Just a thought and maybe not very interesting compared to an "old world blues " or "mothership zeta" DLC but i could imagine this would be a nice little "headhunter questline" .. maybe nick valentine involved or something like that . Uh ! Maybe our character red about one of them in the newspaper the days before the bombs fell :)

4: Pleeeeeaaaase add a hardmode ! Needing to eat, drink, sleep , hyper - / hypothermia , ammo weight etc would be a great way to maximise the immersion of the game .

5: More /bigger Vaults to discover:)

These were just my first thoughts . If there are any more ideas i think you might like i will let you know . Even if there is nothing to consider about these ideas for bethesda , maybe another modder will like some of them instead or find some inspiration :)

The implants would be nice if Bethesda avoids making them too overpowered. Prosthetic limbs, for example, should be weaker than power armor with the hand-to-hand upgrade. Other than that, it would be really cool to see, especially things like prosthetic eyes like you mentioned. Night vision ones, perhaps a zoom feature that doesn't require your sniper rifles to use scopes, maybe even a targeting assist one?

A vault that's the antithesis of 111 would be quite interesting, imagine coming face-to-face with the anti-Sole Survivor. The only issue there might be the fact that the player has the option to be good, neutral, evil, or in between so it might be a bit tough.. unless you meant making a cryo vault containing criminals of various types? That would be kinda interesting, actually.

hardcoe mode was good for NV but I rarely ever used it for one primary reason: I play Fallout because I want to play a fun game. I play fun games to escape real life stress and such. While hardcoe may be fun for some, I found it to be more of a nuisance personally. I personally wouldn't vote for it but I wouldn't really care if Bethesda implemented it or not.

I agree with more vaults, it would be nice to have a couple more of them. Maybe an empty/abandoned vault that you could take over for your favorite faction and build a settlement out of?

Some cool ideas, I'd like to see some of them in future DLC. :)
