Thoughts on Living Cities of Vvardenfall and Pursuit Enhance

Post » Sat Jul 30, 2011 9:02 pm

I'm currently using these two, but I was thinking about turning Living Cities of Vvardenfall off, in fear that it might screw something up, or it'll be too frustrating for me to find an NPC at night.

I don't understand the correlation between them. Are you asking if there is a conflict or something?

And if you're that worried, just remove it. Meldor has to sleep to though, you know..

Just asking for people's general thoughts on these two as individual mods, whether you guys use one of them or both or none at all, or if you guys don't find any of them necessary. It might help me make up my mind on whether or not if I should use any of them.

I don't actually play the game, I only mod. So, my opinion wouldn't matter much. But, should I actually play the game, I would probably use both of them as long as they don't conflict. Especially Living Cities, it just makes it realistic.

I tried Pursuit Enhanced once. It made my game crash like a Russian spacecraft on re-entry.

I used LCV before. I didn't like how the NPCs just teleported when they changed schedules, and it put more strain on my game.

Don't use PE, it's buggy and makes the game crash even more than it already does. LCV is fine, though. It adds some well-thought-out expansions to architecture and NPC scheduling. I like it and wouldn't consider playing without.

I tried Living Cities because the concept sounds good but ended up removing it after awhile because the NPCs did not always end up back where they should normally be found. It was just too frustrating for my enjoyment. I haven't tried Pursuit Enhanced.

I use pursuit enhanced and quite enjoy it actually. Adds some much needed improvement. I have been lucky enough to avoid the buggyness apperently associated with it. I did try LCoV once as well... Meh. Was a cool attempt at improvement but Morrowind as a game is a bit too stiff and rigid for it. Not to even mention the huge incompatabilities it's sure to have with mods.
