Because certain shots should b powerful enough to kill right away withh no chance of revival. A reward for a skilled shooter

The reward for skilled shooters is the fact that you're alive and your enemy isn't - thus you're free to go on about your business or harass his teammates some more.

He only gets revived if a medic gets to within 4-5 feet of him. And the only way a medic could get that close is if you're not paying attention, in which case you deserve whatever is coming to you after your opponent gets picked back up.

Not all realism revolves around OHKs you know, have you read about the effort they are going through with the sounds? The footsteps you hear will be different based on your body type, each faction's guns sound different as well. You're able to actually move over impeding obstacles like a soldier could in real life, instead of being stopped by a lame setup of wooden crates or a picnic table.

PS - If all you want is for people to drop fast then grab a grenade launcher and a shotgun.

There's no "guessing" about it man, I'm gonna be tearing people up with my customized grenade-launcher and my Hjammerdeim shotgun. I'll die a lot when I pick on the wrong groups, but overall it's going to be a blast! :chaos:

I thought that the Hjammerdeim was a heavy weapon?

Immoral Saint, are you getting Brink for PS3? If you are, may I ask what your username is?

I am, if you want to play. My PSN name = my forums username.

I'll most likely be rocking a silenced Assault Rifle with a Holographic sight and Extended Mags for my Medium character.
For my Heavy, I'll be using a Gatling Gun. With a Blue Dot Sight. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v106/Kruszer/Humor/impracticality.jpg

You shouldn't show up at all if you have any silenced weapons in your possession like any other FPS or else silencers would become a waste of a attachment if you're going to get detected via radar easily.

I wonder if the light rifles would be able to attach extended magazines.

Wouldn't count on it for that Barret... besides, 6 shots is between the AGVK/AM50 and Rollins.

As for the Drognav and such... possibly, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Yeah, every unsilenced shot will show up on the radar. Go out to a gun range some time and listen to those shots, I bet they'll be pretty loud. Now imagine that in a small and open area that's about the size of your average super-Walmart.
