Threads on release day

Less than 2 weeks here ;)

But because I'm raw. I'll visit forums once every two weeks. To chill. But if you wanna still see me and hear what I think. Add my gamertag. Haha. Good gaming boys... And girls.. Summer and that kitten girl... Yeah... Bye.

What about :bunny:?

I'll prob play non-stop for a few days while the initial hype and actual gameplay overwhelm me.

Then pass out content and exhausted?

I'm tempted to pull an Assassin's Creed on this one...

Will have to be modified for the Multiplayer-centric style of the game though.

With each Assassin's Creed, I've got the game, got home, sat down, and tried to play through the whole story without sleep. I failed in Brotherhood because I was having way too much fun with random side missions and messing around doing stupid things because you can. But I was only about 2 hours short of finishing the story when I went to sleep (it took me 5 hours after waking up though, because I kept doing other stuff. I have WAY too much fun with the secondary missions in that game).

Brink version:

Get game.

Get home.

Complete all tutorials.

Complete 1 (one) playthrough as Security.

Complete 1 (one) playthrough as Resistance.

Go online.

See how long I last before I become a liability to the team.

When I stop being useful to my team, I'll see how much stuff I can unlock with the challenges while I wait for sleep to hit me.

There will be people having trouble with their PC config who come for help. People who don't understand how to map their controls who come for assistance. People looking for clans, people wanting to brag about their game, people who want to say how good it is or how bad it is, folks looking to see how many complaints there are and how many are enjoying it so they can decide if they want to buy it. There will be people that come to troll, those that will come excited, people who are angry and people in the industry coming to see what people are saying.

And last but not least there will be members who are regulars who come to see what the other regulars are up to since they have come here so much they've come to love the place. ;)

Oh, and moderators will be right here to help folks and to keep the peace. :)

^All of this. :)
There will always be people posting as long as the game garners interest. And, not everyone gets the game at the same time, either. (I know mine won't come on release date, definitely.)
People will also want to find people to play with or make a clan with or discuss the pros and cons of certain strategies and patterns.
Could also have discussions on what the classes are like and what could be improved.
Could also discuss the story (with spoiler warnings, of course) and whether or not there should be a sequel to the game and how would the story continue, etc.
Could discuss what maps are good and what maps need improvement, what guns are good, is the glowing annoying or not, could SMART be improved, etc.... and so on...

What about :bunny:?

Yes, what about moi?

I'm going online right away, do the story in order via multiplayer, hopefully with some skilled FPS vets on my friends list. Will power level through the ranks and story this way. I want everything this game has to offer all at once, sensory explosion!

I agree also dont forget there is going to be things to find within the levels. It is going to be hard not jumping straight online though especially since the game mixes both anyways.
