Threads of yore

No, it was some random generator thing.

Sounds nice.

I think we discussed http://www.translationparty.com/ some time too?

Fitted sheets and the Oblivion mod "PS - I had six with your sister" thread weren't too long ago - 2008, maybe.

The fitted sheet thread was before myself or CCNA were moderators so I'm thinking 2004 at least. The Oblivion "I had six with your sister" thread was not long after Oblivions release. I think maybe 2006 or 2007. They were both hysterical.

I have a thread archived about "who is the most stupid member" and everyone claiming to be the king or queen of stupid. Fun times.

I just don't find many threads very memorable. Oh look wow look at that high amount of posts in a thread or odd thing x happened to person y. I don't find that very impressive or worth my excitement. Not to sound like a pessimistic person they are just threads. Nothing special

We need a forum Renaissance.

Too true. I've always sort of lurked around here (as my posts/years ratio shows), but CD just felt more alive a few years ago.

Maybe it goes in cycles, and we're about due for another wave of awesome, I think.

Oh, and to be on topic: My favorite old thread was the one that brought me here. I Googled "how to find the dwemer puzzle box," and one of the links I clicked on was to a thread in the Morrowind Hints section. I've been here ever since...

Your either very boring, or have one of the most fantastically adventurous lifestyles ever. There can be no in between.

Indeed, the thread that is perhaps better off not mentioned helped made CD fun again with me posting more often then usual.

But to be honest the only thread that really came to mind was the 400+(?) thread regarding 'Things you used to believe' where I posted one of my own before it had even reached the 200 limit. Next day the thread was deleted and took a few days before finding out about the madness that took place there.

Does anybody know if there's a quick way to archive entire thread? Apart from just saving every page individually.

It's more about the fun you have with people you know. Not about some earth shattering revelation. I think you're looking at it wrong if that's what you expect.

Sounds nice.

Found it:

http://thesurrealist.co.uk/slang

povuholo
interj. expression of disbelief.
"Brian, I just saw Sabrina and Grandma, going to have six with a unit of currency!" "Povuholo!"

morrowind
v. to steal cocaine.
"Are you trying to morrowind, man?"

Well, "yore" is perfectly acceptable here, although his use of "yonder" does give a sinister foreshadowing to "But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?"

Oh great, with just two posts I have managed to derail a tanker, which is made even more fascinating by the fact that they don't even travel on rails. Anyway, never mind me, just carry on.

Ok....

Anyway, There is one really funny one some guy posted, about his methods of washing a cat by sticking it in the toilet and flushing, or dressing in armour and climbing into the bath with it. I thought I had it saved, but can't find it, anyone remember it?

I don't have an adventurous lifestyle , it is well I find very few things exciting.

It's more about the fun you have with people you know. Not about some earth shattering revelation. I think you're looking at it wrong if that's what you expect.

Well I guess I had a few good times with people but I don't know I am not part of the "cool kids" so from my perspective I am mostly ignored.

I remember the weirdest threads.

I remember when a certain user, possibly http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/user/60362-jaleena/ was dealing with depression but for some reason it seemed to drag on like a Minecraft thread, spanning over multiple threads.

I once made a poll back in 2006 entitled, "Who is better looking?" And there was a picture of me, and a picture of my friend. I'm pretty sure my friend won.
