I remember there used to be this series in the RP forums that would get to like 20 threads and then reboot under a new name and do that again and again, and it was pretty darn high quality rp. Think I remember that Loranna seemed to run it, but that was about all. Was as good reading as any novel on my shelf though.

I also remember the day I first joined the forums, there was some thread asking which varieties of objects can have a Daedric version, and is it just armor or clothes too. Got into a furious debate about how you even drew the line between clothes and armor, and someone was like "Well if I see a Daedric g-string in the next content xpac, I'ma quit". Good times.

I remember handfuls of posters in the Morrowind section when I joined who were so vigilant about their RP-ness. Some who had an affinity for Morrowind and the old "Dres" view of slavery would basically flame posters who would dare ask how to free them, calling them "filthy nwah's" and referring to the races Argonian or Khajiit (or anyone on the forums who played them) as a "slave".

I think the funnier part was the posters who didn't understand this was roleplaying and to a degree satire, until the mods I think got tired of having to clean up those posts, and the humour went away.
It was also hilarious how many posters there were who posted about Fargoth, usually in a homophobic manner despite the obvious reference being a common Bosmer greeting to those with a high disposition.
