Having 3 Dog in wouldn't have made much sense but I would have loved for Erik to voice another character or at least have him be a alternate voice for the male PC.

First thing I thought of as well. Not necessarily a big fan, but I just assumed he was in seeing the GNR sign and all. He said he had permission too! What ever happened to "more of the Dog" on the way? Everybody was speculating that 3 Dog tapes might have just kept playing on air to account for all outcomes...that we would hear him, but probably never see him. Makes no sense.

I guess he was on his own doing it. Seemed totally legit. When I saw GNN in the trailer, like I said, just assumed he would be there. I'm a little sad now.

I'm just sad that he's sad. The twitter teases were apparently for something else, since he confirmed later on he wasn't going to be in Fallout 4 as Three Dog.

He may have just been playing up a much less interesting conversation with Beth up to drum up interest. Or perhaps try and make a bid to get the character to return.

I imagine it may have gone something like:

Beth: "We won't say either way."

ED: "Threeee Dog may be comin' back folks!"

Kinda glad he wont be back, The whole 3 dog thing in FO3 was way over acted and in my opinion did not fit the setting at all, So I am pleased about the news.

Obviously not in F4. Three Dog is a dead dog.
