Betcha Mr New Vegas is a securitron, underground in Mr House's basemant complex. (kind of like Victor and that girl tron in the penthouse). Thats how he finds out all the news, because it gets relayed to him via the securitron net.

I prefer the FO3 music to the FONV music but otherwise Mr. New Vegas all the way - Three Dog does absolutely nothing for me.

Three Dog's voice and attitude wants me to deliver a swift punch into his face.
Mr. New Vegas' voice (despite being voiced by the real Wayne Newton) usually forces me to turn the radio off, unless there's Big Iron playing. Yeah, can't really punch him into the face, since he's... not real!

In any case, you either love them or hate them. :vaultboy:

Three Dog managed to annoy me from time to time, especially when I have the lights off in my room and I'm sneaking the wasteland to then suddenly hear, "THIS IS THREE DOG!!!! HOWLLLLLLLLL!"

And Mr. New Vegas? He was a suave bastard in my books.

I guess I would pick Mr. New Vegas only because he reminds me of my grandma...she loved him and in the states he was pretty popular on TV. When I first heard him speak I thought he was drunk!!!....I had to turn the volume up in order to understand his slurred speech!

Three Dog and Mr. New Vegas are both awful to listen to.
The music though are equally good I'd say. Too bad Obsidian couldn't mix the "new" music with the "old".

Threedog was actually the reason I couldn't listen to the radio in Fallout 3. His voice and style were annoying beyond comprehension.

Gooood eeevniiing chiiiiildren... Shut the [censored] up and stop harrassing the channel with your [censored]! Auuuuuuuuuuu.... *radio off*

Mister New Vegas wasn't too much better, but at least he wasn't even remotely as annoying.

Sigh, the next Fallout shouldn't have any DJ's.

Actually, basically the only reason I listened to Black Mountain Radio was to hear her. At first I thought a radio station run by Super Mutants would be lame, but it turned out to be a pleasant (and hilarious) surprise.

That would hurt the franchise, because it gives fallout character and a bit of that old world taste, i guess you would by fine with Slim Shady

Not really, in terms of radio, its the 1950s music not the DJ that helps to give it that "old world" feel.

I was disheartened to learn that even if you solved the Black Mountain quest peacefully, you could no longer listen to Best Friend Tabitha.

Between Three Dog and Mr. New Vegas, neither. Mr. New Vegas had a more tolerable voice and personality, but he came on way too much, often after every single song to deliver not one, but two news reports. As for Three Dog, he was just plain annoying.

I don't think it would hurt the franchise as there's nothing really spectacular acchieved with DJ's. I'd be just fine if there was only the music - and even without a radio at all, and just a well composed background ambient.

No President Eden? Aww, he's my favourite voice on the radio. GNR has much, much better music than Radio New Vegas though.

I hope they keep/expand the radio stations though, I like hearing tales of my exploits, and would like to hear more radio serials, (in world) advertisments, maybe a talk show, that sort of thing. It all adds colour.

Mr. New Vegas for the voice, and GNR for the music. But I like both of the stations equally, they have their own charms and negatives that outweigh the other stations negatives and positives.

Ya maybe you should add in Eden, Agatha, and tabatha as personalitys.

Course after a while all of em could rub you the wrong way ya here the same speech too many times.

I am holding my vote as Agatha because of the quest was really out of em all the one I felt closest too.

but the stuff from new vegas suits me better music wise.. (still need a bit more swing/bigband hehe )
