Three RP Ideas, Which do you like best

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 2:36 am

Just a slight bump. ;)

After reading through the entire thread i'm taken aback by this idea. I'll be honest, I am a fan of Vampires and the like when it comes to Rp's, however, this only means that i'll do my best to makes sure it'll be the best it can be.

At the moment, I am happy to serve any of the four Vampire Families, or if the chance arises, a hunter, I eagerly await the background of the families as so to aid my descision, as do I await any update to the go ahead of this Rp. It looks fantastic.

Well, family A is always looking for recruits. As long as you don't mind working for one of the most morally vile characters I've ever come up with.

Sounds cool, though if this does ever go ahead, i'd rather read the backgrounds of the families first. ;)

well, Immortal's vacation should be over today or tomorrow, so we'll likely get the background soon.

Ohh, I'd love to join the richest family. need a wifey? :hubbahubba:

I've got no past experience in Oblivion fanfiction BUT I do write Fallout fanfiction, and I've played both Oblvion and Morrowind.

I hope I haven't just slaughtered my chances of joining this. :shakehead:

Hate to say this but i'm extremely sick, I may have to postpone this another week with classes starting, health, and just getting back into normal life after my vacation. I'm not going to rush in a half assed RP to have it fail a few days later.

No worries! I'm a big supporter of the saying "all good things to those who wait." Better to do it right than have it fail.

I was going to wake up today early to work on it and have it done sooner but when I didn't even get to sleep at night and when I woke up at 5 PM I felt like someone kicked me in the eye socket and forgot to remove their boot.

Ouch.

Take your time, man. I'm none too time-free myself either right now. Take care of yourself first, mate.

Read the thread and look for it. It is in the thread, and I don't believe very many of us could tell you first hand.

Heres a brief and rough summary of my family:

During the rebellion against the Aylied led by Alessia and Whitestrake a large amount of slave escaped and broke off from the fighting. This small group moved north into Skyriim, where they where slaughtered and fed upon by a demonic temptress, a vampire.

The sole survivor of this ordeal fled and existed in darkness as an animal and a beast, feeding on live stock and travellers who ventured to far into the wilderness. Centuries later resurfaces as a noble, using the riches stolen from his prey to root himself into the slaving industry of Morrowind.

Over the course of the next one hundred years (up until present day) he actively fights against slavery -- buying and immediately releasing entire shipments of slaves in one go. Because of the selflessness he has shown, because of his experience being a slave himself a long time ago, many of the slaves he releases become fiercely loyal to him. They begin to build a family, he grants his children and brothers and sisters with the dark gift and curse that is vampirism.

The family grows and prospers, eventually moving to the Imperial city after the complete abolishment of slavery -- making up for the majority of Khajiit and Argonian Population of the city.

It is here that they began to influence the other families, some more drastically than others.

They provide more services than they control, most services include security, overseeing illegal dealings between two or more of the other families and providing security to bribery meetings with the authorities and politicians of the city, taking a minute percentage of the profit from both sides in exchange for peace of mind and their continued neutral standing.

They are poor and young but by no means small, their natural attraction for ex-criminals and slaves keeps their numbers filled.

I just recently watched Interview with a Vampire so i'm intrigued by the first idea.

EDIT:

I made up my mind, I will definately shoot for the first option. A political heirarchy of vampires is extremely intriguing. However I would most likely join any of the choices.

Perhaps we can even setup a chatroom to kind of tie together plot ideas and key events that happen throughout the roleplay. Or at least stay active with not only your faction (family) via PM but your enemies (fellow writers) as well.
