Three months until the release, and not a drop of new pictur

Post » Sat Jul 23, 2011 11:01 am

I apologize for grousing. . . but wouldn't it be nice to at least have a few new non-spoilerish screenshots and some discernable examples of the remaining races (any of the Elves, for example).

To the best of my knowledge, there has not been a single new screenshot in months. And in three months all such things will be moot, as the game will be on shelves already. Rumour has it there is enough content to choke. . . well, to choke a full grown dragon. So would a few more glimpses for us to salivate over really hurt anything?

You mean like the 6 new screenshots from Gameinformer last week?

Or the 4 new screenshots from OPM three weeks ago?

But I agree that it is annoying to "find" such news outside of the US.

I don't see what they will gain by hiding the remaining races.

Sorry but it's more than three months, it's four, actually even more than that. But i don't mind it, when the game comes out, there will be lots and lots of new things you didn't know about. It's not good to know everything about the game already before playing it. We saw a very nice demonstration during E3, we'll get more during GC...be happy :)

If I had the choice between info and screenshots, I'd choose screenshots because each screenshot is a piece of information on its own, and can tell its own story.

I like getting new information, so long as it's not spoilers. Like knowing we're dragonborn already. Why? Why was that a necessary piece of information?

im hoping they don't release much more information. i only hope they add more details to things, like how smithing will work, how many weapons are in the game, will you be able to choose who to marry, and which house to buy. stuff like that.

In all honesty, I'm with ya, I don't mind that much either.

But GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY wouldn't a character model of Daedra lord or a female Bosmer
hit the spot 'bout right now?

Really want to know if the Bosmer look decent. Anything is better than Oblivion's chubby children. :shakehead:

They are planning something big for the remaining races like the argonians you saw how the orc got revamped and not to mention the khajiit got scarier looking to fight now also they still need to make the new trailer when its released.

Companion? does this mean a member of the new fighters guild or an actual companion?

But I think the OP was talking about new races,

namely Argonians.

exactly i want to see screenshots of the races lots of them. as someone said skyrims PR is like making a beautiful painting then locking the painting in a safe then dropping that safe into the mariana trench so nobody can see it all the while taunting people by poorly describing its beauty. its like this forum is in some sort of abusive relationship with bethesda they smack us across the face many times yet we always return thinking things will change.

Because it's the premise of the game and the dragon shouts are a big selling point, much like the dragons themselves.

I could see using the dragons as a selling point, but I don't see why we have to basically already know the entire intro to the plot. Being dragonborn and having dragonshouts is not a necessary selling point, in my opinion. I think most of us are more concerned with races, UI, and character development.

Agreed. However, I was just throwing out things at random.

Point being our fellow members seems so starved of new info that Bethesda could post new screens of mammoth scat
or dragon droppings making everyone giddy with joy.

99.99% of the things this forum wants to know aren't main quest related at all.
At this point, I don't really care much about a screen shot, and I don't want anything knew. I just want what everyone else has already seen, the full 45 minute demo.
