((I'd formerly like to announce I have no idea where to post this but this seemed like a good place to do. I'm a Elderscrolls lore junky and sort of play the games by weaving my PC's into a complicated plot. All of them operating at one time doing different things that sometimes intersect. Seeing as how I'm constantly doing so inside my head I've decided to try and put quill to paper so to speak and weave a story. This is my first attempt at doing such and I realize I'll probably make a lot of mistakes and wind up with a hodge podge of loose ends and random thoughts that even Douglas Adams would be taken aback by. I would appreciate any feed back given. But enough warning lets get into it.))
Three is most certainly a crowd.
Hard soled boots tapped across the thinly veiled cobblestone laid underfoot, the hustle and bustle of the city untouched by the bitter cold and danger that ran unchecked outside.
Tilting his head the imperials lips drew taut in a smile seeing a familar form burst from one of the local shops behind the mammoth shape wrapped in what might have been 12 cloaks was a small man wielding a broom as if it were a great and terrible blade his diminuitive voice booming "Get out of here you filthy thief!"The guards immediately charging into the situation, stalwart blurs of orange that shouted "Stop! Stop! You have comitted crimes amongst the walls of Whiterun!"
The cloaked figure seemed to linger for a moment unsure of just what to do. Plots and plans tumbling in the rapid moving drum of it's mind it burst forward in full sprint towards the Imperial perched against the well, his palms pressed together rubbing in vigorous motion, occasionally stopping to breathe into them. Soon enough the Imperial found the cloaked figures arm wrapped around him his other hand rapidly gesturing to him as the figure bleeted "No, no, Khajiit no thief! Simply getting coin from friend here! Isn't that right? Tell them Tyur'dor is no thief."
His arm rocking the Imperial hard to get his attention jarring him a little bit before he pushed himself to his feet muttering something as he fumbled around with his belt trying to unhook the sack that hung from his waist "That's right noble guardsmen. My friend here was simply coming out here to get coin for his purchase of?..."
His eyes darting to the Khajiit watching the hood pulled slightly away from his furred face that seemed to crease in a sheepish grin "These fine cloaks of course! How could you forget! Khajiit memory much better. Maybe you should try to think like Tyur'dor. Better for memory!"
With a narrowing of his eyes the Imperial turned his focus back to the Guardsmen that had them crowded the small shop keeper pushing his way through the crowds shouting and hollaring "Making a man my age come out here to deal with this! I want that thief in the dungeons! In chains!"
Marching up to the Imperial and his Khajiit ward his eyes locked upon the coins the shopkeeper broke into a bit of a chuckle as if the entire thing had just been one big mistake "Unless this young man here intends to pay for it." With a quick gesture to the coins clutched by the Imperial. The head guardsmen let out a sigh pinching the bridge of his nose for a moment before rubbing the two long chops of hair that ran down his face "How much for the cloaks Shopkeep?"
He asked with a slight air of annoyance and a roll of his eyes. The Shopkeeper only offered a devius grin in response his hand lashing out ripping the bag away from the Imperial before he turned marching out "This should cover it!" He shouted back with a tone of glee in his voice the door of his shop slamming behind him leaving the Imperial standing empty handed and blinking his wealth liberated from him in a moment.
The Head Guardsmen simply offering him a nod before his eyes darted to the Khajiit "Next time, it's the dungeon Milk Drinker." Gesturing for his men to leave before he himself was stopping off down the narrow streets to another night of watch leaving the Imperial to slump back against the well once more the Khajiit covered in the massive pile of cloaks next to him.
((Figured I'll get some feedback now and continue on later, any tips/opinions so far?))
