Throwing knives are pointless in modern combat. And dont even get me started on tomahawks.

Could be cool, but they're pretty impractical. Style points though, if you kill someone with one. There are a ton of things I would much rather see included over throwing knives, however.

nice video, really sums up why there should be some sort of sharp projectile in Brink. I would love to see Brink have them, but i bought the game knowing it wont... still i feel more accomplished when i get a throwing knife/tomahawk then when i get a regular kill or just a stab... there's more skill involved with throwing them.

If you have the skill to use a throwing knife, you desurve a one hit kill. But I wont be disappointed if they arn't in the game or, if they are, not one hit kills

Throwing knives take away the personal touch of a knife stab so no. I want to watch their eyes fill with fear before they roll into their head. Throwing knives can't do that.

If I ever, EVER meet you in a dark alley, I'm kicking you in the gooch. And running. Because you don't have a throwing knife. Hehehe. :D :whistling:

You KNOW you want to see that in Brink...

If something like was implemented, I don't I'd be able to bring myself to complain about it even if it was horrendously overpowered.

Hell, someone should make a game designed around stuff like that. I'd totally consider renting it.

The only way is if they are not an instant kill, and in that case the only reason you would ever use them is if you ran out of ammo and your opponent is already almost dead!

Not to be a dike or anything, but really? I know you said you didn't want them in the game, and they can't possibly be added in unless they add it in DLC. I've never been a fan o throwing knifes, the only time I've had fun with throwing knifes in game is Goldeneye for the N64. Run through a mission with god mode and a billion knives, thats some great entertainment.

But back onto me sounding like a dike, but not being one... somehow. The throwing knife idea in games, is overused and just plain stupid, hasn't anyone heard of "Never bring a knife to a gunfire... unless you're Wraith"?

This game is way to fast paced to actually land a hit on anyone. I think even a heavy could easily dodge. I think it be more of a "fun" feature in the game than a "useful" one. Still vote no :)
