I think that is excellent! No need for revision :goodjob: .

I agree!

Cool. ^_^ I was dissatisfied with the grip, and finally settled on the katana grip. But it doesn't quite sit right with me, mainly because the transition from the grip to the blade texture is so abrupt. But, maybe I'm being too picky (I am my own worst critic!).

I know about perfectionism, it's a disease, trust me, you don't want that to happen :lmao: . I feel the same about all of my projects. Nevertheless, I get over it and produce what there is. I go to the next weapon doing it better (hopefully). I personally think you did a better job on that dagger than I did on the shiruken.

Using one of daduke's meshes, I've attempted to make a Glass Dart: http://i468.photobucket.com/albums/rr50/Alaisiagae/Mod%20Screenshot%20MW/Misc/dart_glass.jpg. Does it look like a dart? The mesh was for a throwing knife, but it looked like it could pass as a dart...

Perhaps a little less weight in the butt of the dart.

Probably needs to have the shaft run straight to the butt, which would also mean that the throwing knife mesh would not work.

Also, you would hold the dart by the shaft rather than the point.

How about the dwemer dart mesh?

How's http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?rzzzmjynvzm

It's an iron http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss296/taroustheslayer/IronSpike.jpg?t=1240184053. You can fix it up to your desire, make it steel, silver, or whatever.

Oh, cool! I think I'll use this for the glass dart.

@seiboldii: trying to texture it with stock glass textures doesn't yield spectacular results, I'm afraid. Plus, the dwemer dart looks like it has quite a bit of heft to it. I think I'll try Taroustheslayer's spike dart, see how that works out. :)

Okay, http://i468.photobucket.com/albums/rr50/Alaisiagae/Mod%20Screenshot%20MW/Misc/dart_glass_v3.jpg. How's it look?

One thing, though: I couldn't rotate the mesh around its center. In other words, I couldn't make it spin around like the arm on a clock or a needle on a dial. I could only make it barrel-roll and tip it upwards and downwards. I'm not sure if this matters or not.

I'm not sure how to take that. Regardless, feel free to change it for the better if you wish, sieboldi. You have my blessings.

That looks neat, thanks!

EDIT:

After looking at this in Nifskope, I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking for; it just doesn't say "bonemold" to me, you know?

I could reassign new spike textures if that's it, or perhaps it can be a new weapon set, something like Ashlandic or Tribal.

Sorry, Tarous, but there appears to be something wrong with your mesh. http://i468.photobucket.com/albums/rr50/Alaisiagae/Mod%20Screenshot%20MW/Misc/glass_spike_problem.jpg. Also, it is much larger than expected! :o

The 3d ratio is too large, and the x,y,z, assignment in nifskope is an easy alter, literally two minutes work. I could take care of that for you tommorow afternoon if you'd like.

That's be great, thanks! :) Tarous' link should still work (MediaFire doesn't take down files after x number of days).

Sorry that was laziness on my part, I just was gonna make the model and thought you would scale and position it.

Mm, not really. I'm not sure I can really use it for the existing stuff right now. =/
