Thrown into the Wastes.

Ask around, see who knows what Canada's like. If it's wonderful, and better than D.C., forget the last part and go to Canada with her instead.

Go hook up with the lone wanderer and ask him how to use V.A.T.S., then follow him until he gets to the point of the storyline where he gets to the citadel. I'd get permission along with the lone wanderer to get Power Armor Training, swipe the plasma rifle and Power Armor from the lab, and then hook up with Sarah. I'd use my very persuasive words to get her to leave the Brotherhood and get married. Then go west with her to Shalebridge, near Arefu, build a small house and live happily ever after...Unless of course the lone wanderer is a beautiful woman who is the girl of my dreams.

That's easy, I would walk to Megaton and just try to survive. If we mean realistically that's what I would do. I would just try to get a house and live as long as I can. Megaton is one of the only towns in game and it's safe. The only place I would like better is to live in Rivet City, but that's too far away. Unless I had lots of body guards and a better weapon I wouldn't walk there. But let's say I didn't have those nice things I'll def stay in Megaton.

Silver is an ex-prosttute and junkie who used to work for Moriarty, but ran away from Megaton with some caps and now lives in an abandon house in Springvale. I think her name is Silver due to her hair being colored very white.

I guess you really never know how you'd react in a truly life or death situation until you encountered it. And there's a lot of luck involved, too. I mean, if a raider finds you, and gets you in the head with a lucky shot, you can't exactly reload the game, can you?

Oh and learn how to fire a weapon too.

begin life as a merc, scavenging supplies for megaton, then as time goes on, i begin up on my knowledge of mechanics and repairing, and i go from town to town repairing stuff, from this i get better at bartering as i negotiate prices on parts, and become the everyday mechanic.

I'd go hang out with Silver, and together, we'd get drunk and high ALL THE TIME!

Seriously though, I'd probably head over to Megaton and try to get a job working as Moira's apprentice. With the knowledge gained from that, I'd try to get a job as a lab assistance for Doctor Li in Rivet City.

to be realistic about it, i would go to sliver talk to her make her calm shoot her in the back of the head take her stuff go to the hollow rock behind megaton take the stuff from there, and all the stuff in the mail boxes in springville, go to megaton talk to lukas simms talk to mr burke, shoot him , tell simms that he was planning on blowing up megaton ask too help with controling the town for some income and live the rest of my life there, or somehow get to rivit city

if it was like the game i would go nuts do what i would do in the game just steal everything that i could armor myself up and track down the the kid from vault 101 and follow him and fawkes around the wasteland exploring, killing and looting

I hate to admit it, but I am a naive, hapless individual with very few of the skills and attributes needed to survive in the wastes. I would probably end up getting run down and shredded by Mirelurks, captured and outfitted with high explosive neckwear by slavers, or invited over to dinner by those nice folks in Andale.

if more than one of us could be in the wasteland, you would find great work with the New Helghast as a merc, we'd teach you everything you need to know. every human life is important...if youre willing to cooperate, you'll be on the winning side, if not, you will serve either as target practice, or tinder, or as the ultimate last resort.

Oh, is that all? Well, given that I'm probably about 40 pounds overweight, I'd certainly serve well for that.

although my New Helghast would certainly find plenty of pre war food, we could probably scraqe by without resorting to cannibalism, but nothing goes according to plan...and eating raider flesh could get us in really bad trouble, disease and all..

Assuming I retain my knowledge of the Wasteland I would probably head down into Springvale to try and find some Pre-War clothing. Although i would find dirty clothing, to avoid being presumed wealthy and then robbed in some Megaton alley. I would scavenge until i could afford some durable clothing, not leather however as that would get extremely hot in the wasteland sun. I would never realistically be able to make the journey down to Rivet City or any-where outside Megaton so I would probably stay and work in Megaton, maybe working for the Stahls.
I would not be able to make it as a Mercenary or raider or wanderer as I have only ever used fire-arms on one occasion (but I got through about 400 22. rounds and ended up being fairly decent with the repeater I used). Also I don't have the stamina to fight for extended periods or the endurance to survive trips into the wastes.
Overall I would say that should I end up in The Capital Wastes I wouldn't stray far from Megaton.
