I was recently browsing TIL and looking up random gods to read their in-game descriptions, and I found something interesting. While the original Eight Divines were given descriptions from their appearances in Daggerfall, Talos/Tiber Septim was not. Moving up to the main page of this section, I was told that, "In Morrowind, Tiber Septim was mysteriously (and inexplicably) combined with the eight Aedra to form the Imperial Cult." So I'm curious: Was Tiber Septim related to religion in Daggerfall at all, or was his introduction to the Divines something out of left field?

Also, I'm curious about Daggerfall religion in general. I remember hearing vaguely that the Divines were pretty much the only religion in the game, and there wasn't anything like the religious diversity one now expects with TES lore (especially with the Redguards having such a completely different view of the world). Can anyone elaborate, or is that really all there is to it?
