Realistic Leveling is compatible with TIE. TIE doesn't really touch on PC skills and attributes so just about any leveling mod is compatible. Haldir, post your load order and I can probably tell you what the problem is. It seems that I had that same problem too but I don't remember exactly what was causing it.

Sorry, but that's not going to happen. TIE is what it is, and while there are areas that could probably use improvement or refinement, the basic premise is sound.

Judging by that list on the mod's page, LCE is already wholly a part of Frans.

I just realized while rebuilding my LO, including Sutch and having TIE+Frans, that it probably would be a good idea to use the patch http://tesnexus.com/downloads/download.php?id=49868 for removing spawn points inside Sutch that are placed by Francesco's leveled creatures items 4.5b.

You might want to link to that Arthmoor on the TIE page.


Likely true, but that's entirely an issue with Frans. I don't really see the need in it being covered through TIE, even with the TIE+Frans patch.

well, i used my old save, did that 3 days wait thing, synced the NPC's in wyre bash. still CTDing, but thsi time it's mainly when i quick travel.

so i started another game, but it's the same, CTDing at random and when changing cells.

I've still got an issue. It's IMPOSSIBLE to sneak. I even used the console to set my sneak to 100 for testing purposes, but it's still nearly impossible. NPCs will detect me when I'm not even in the same room. I don't mind the initial challenge, but this sneaking thing is ridiculous. I don't even wear armor.

Ok then your first thing to do is to install http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516 and sort your load order.

While grabbing the Nexus link I noticed some mods for BOSS there such as:

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31766 - never tried it, but...

I also use http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29790 since I have Word. If you don't have Word then you can't use it.
I don't particularly care for the current 1.6x BOSS functionality so I still use BOMM.

I've just put the TNR, Stealthier Magic, and Hear Me Not up on the TIE page at Nexus. Everything that was available at Veritas' site is now accounted for and available.

Wollibeebee, you should, as IT said, download and use BOSS. Also, to ensure maximum compatibility between mods you should used Wrye Bash's Bashed Patch feature. It is a lot easier to use than you may think, and if you need help with anything, PM me and I'd be willing to tell you what to do.

This is such the topic that belongs in the BOSS thread now.

The two mods after bashed patch need to load higher probably up near underworld armor - they are not recognized by BOSS yet.

Next make sure to do a cell respawn in an isolated cell.

Other issues may be about overload on graphics or LOD replacers and a hardware issue. But I recommend using one of the optimization threads for that discussion. How old is this save game that you were playing with a bashed patch that far up the load order?

and btw, I'm not new to this you know, I've been modding MW for 2 whole fricken years. i just don't understand the whole OB set-up.

a have done a fricken "cell re spawn"

the game works FINE! without TIE. absolutely no problem.

this doesn't belong in the BOSS thread, i have problems with TIE breaking my game, not load list errors.

If you haven't used BOSS and have the bashed patch loaded so high you also likely have not imported all the bash tags that BOSS gives.

Very unlikely that the lack of UOP or UOMP will cause crashes. Another possibility is where you are testing. Try a different location as there could be a corrupt spawn point save in several locations then try moving about in each after loading.

If as you say the game works perfectly fine in all circumstances except for TIE (which is loaded where - should be right after thieves den in that load order) then I recommend trying these console commands to see if the game crashes.
~TAI - will toggle off NPC AI
~TSCR - will toggle off scripts

with these off (try one at a time) do you still crash?

Missed this before - standard diagnostic rule for any mod causing issues is to test it alone, with nothing else. If you can get through the tutorial and exit the sewers, then the mod itself isn't at fault and you're looking for a conflict.

yeah, i think it's TIE conflicting with something, if it made the game CTD every 10 minutes no one would use it. i will later, try it by it's self, but jst after i finish this attempt, i just wait for 3 days in another cell (dunbarrow cove) i think the other cell might of had people coming in it while i was waiting, just been taught by sauron_ what all the "bashed patch" is about and used that, then i did the "update NPC level" and i'm gonna test around now. if that doesn't work i'm try using TIE by it's self like u suggested, see if it still CTD's the game. just wish it wrote something in the warning.txt when it CTD :facepalm:

You could get http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26510 - it will print out all console messages to a txt file. Requires OBSE. You can see examples of how I use it over the last few pages here.

Well which causes no ctds - scripts or ai? Make sure to import all tags into bash patch.

Well there you have one problem. You don't know how to use WB. Make sure you are sorting correctly (BOSS), reporting as instructed in the BOSS thread here on unrecognized mods, and when rebuilding the bashed patch, to make sure all the import sections that should be checked are checked (all those "bash tags" on your mod esps in the Mod tab, on the right). The beginner's WB tutorial thread here with pictures would do you well. I wish I had something like that which I asked for 2 months ago.

yeah, i imported everything that came up for TIE into the bashed patch.
and i jst tested the game again after doing all the stuff in my last post, it's still CTDing, i'm 100% sure it's a conflict.. though i could will be wrong.

i'll run conscribe now then i'll try it by it's self.

Anyone tried Integration with TIE?
Does it work with it without messing anything up?
I have never used LAME or RBP. Good thing for TNO OMOD scripts. I have had them all already downloaded for a while.

I used TIE, RBP, LAME, and Integration. They are all compatible. Well, at least I never had any problems with them. But, said mods do most just add content and do not overlap any TIE features I can think of.

i installed conscribe, but it says in it's INI:

OBSE version too old (got 00000012 expected at least 00000013)
i have OBSE _0018.

something going on here? i looked for ages and ages for this "13" version, couldn't find it anywhere, i think i'm just gonna give up :blink: sorta getting frustrated :slap:

This overhaul concerns itself with leveled lists, game settings, adding NPCs, etc.

Actually most overhauls do all that - the only overhaul that is brimming with other things than the typical scaling and settings that most overhauls address is OOO. It adds locations and dungeons and quests.

So asking if a race mod, quest mod, or magic overhaul is incompatible really doesn't matter with all overhauls except OOO. Yes there is conflcits but all mods are conflict winners when compared to Oblivion.esm or earlier loading mods. So you want the race and magic settings of LAME and RBP load them later ... as per BOSS. Despite the name overhauls don't touch everything. And just like you were recommending other stealth mods with this it is the same thing with magic and race. Same with combat mods and so on.

The real issues with TIE and other mods concerns leveled lists and the philosophy of how the lists are implemented. TIE is unleveled which means that all encounters in all lists are set to potentially spawn from level one. Same for items but there might be differences between NPC loot drops and container finds.

I'd think the above (reworded and made purdy) might be advantageous to add to first post so as to address these concerns up front.

Wollibeebee - probably have to get an older conscribe 8 as the newest I think wants OBSE 19. I think.
