Is it time for me to get a larger gaming mouse pad?

Hey everyone, this applies to Fallout 3 and every other game I play as well. I've been noticing lately that I'm bumping the side of my keyboard with my mouse when turning left. I am right handed and use a fairly low sensitivity - my mouse is a Logitech G500 and I'm using the Steelseries S&S Qck mouse pad. It's about 12"x10.5", but it just seems like I'm bumping the side of the keyboard too often these days, which is causes me to both miss shots and receive shots I don't want - lol.

Do you think one of the mega size mouse pads will do the trick, if so any brand and model in mind?

Thanks for any help, G :)

I do just fine with my free national guard mouse pad. naturally it's made by the lowest bidder, so it's crap, and I regret getting it even though I could easily afford a very very expensive one.

Thanks Adrolak, but that doesn't help me solve my problem all that well.

I would find your sensitivity settings to be too slow, and I'd increase them by quite a bit. But that's me - obviously your personal preferences are going to be different.

I'd just play around with the mouse sensitivity and acceleration settings until I found the combo that gave me the best balance between available space and control. I'm a righty too and play with a Logitech M500 mouse and a basic Allsop pad, and they work just fine for me. If you've got space for a bigger pad, I guess you could go for it.

Honestly, a far more important consideration for me is having the mouse at a height and position where I can use it and keep my wrist at a natural and comfortable angle.

Good point, that's very important. Thanks for your input.
