With just over a month to go until the release of Skyrim and the game pretty much complete in terms of development, more and more detailed info is being released. Of particular note are the Achievements, which I've been avoiding like the plague. As of time of writing, there are three topics with the word 'spoiler' in the title on the first page of General Discussion.

Given that, is it time for a dedicated forum for more spoilerish topics revealing info on game quests, factions and what have you? Personally, I'm going to start giving Skyrim General Discussion a miss from now on - I love finding out new info on the game but I'd like some things to be left up to me to discover.

If there are threads that warrant a spoiler tag even a month away from release (and I've been avoiding them myself!) then there is probably a need for a hints/spoilers type forum. I doubt that there will be one until release day however. At least so far people are tagging spoilerish threads!

yeah, it probably would be a good time for a spoiler forum... even then, there will be some trouble makers, or ignorant users, who decide to put spoilers in this forum, so its bet to avoid the forums altogether or be extra cautious, even when we do get our spoiler forum.

I've avoided it too, but that isn't an argument against a Spoiler forum now, that's an argument against Spoiler forums generally.

Your logic is flawed. It is entirely possible to spoil something that isn't out yet.
