Time frame before we see gameplay? : V

I was wanting to know your guys' opinion on how long it will be until we see some gameplay? I am personally thinking E3.

E3 stands for the Electronic Entertainment Expo. And this year it will be June 7-9.

Its full name is the electronic entertainment expo and June I think. I cant remember if they showed fallout 3 prior though so not certain. I love the walk through's they did for fallout and oblivion before they released.

I expect a small trailer, with parts of in game footage a month or so before E3 and at E3 the full trailer would be released.

I am half expecting to see some in a month or 2, not 6 months.. :S

I'm expecting to see some gameplay footage before E3, too. I just don't think Bethesda's PR guys would try to keep up the hype on Skyrim though magazine articles alone for the next six months. People are going to want to see gameplay and I think we'll get some.

I'd be shocked if we saw gameplay before e3...pleasantly shocked though! But definitely not before e3 I think.

As a side note...when do you think the elder scrolls website will be updated?

Last year's E3 was meh. It sounds like it could be more interesting this year.

we'll see a trailer with some gameplay in March, an actual gameplay demonstration at E3, maybe a second trailer after E3, and maybe we'll get some hands-on time with the game at Quakecon before it launches in November.

But if not, there's still BF3 but I would prefer seeing something like a tech demo of Skyrims new engine.

sometime after Game Informer reveal is milked to it's end. So probably not so long now. At most a month I reckon.

I have no official knowledge from Bethesda, but...

E3 is the earliest I would expect to see anything on Skyrim, I can almost guarantee it.

We won't see anything until then, and Bethesda can keep screenshots secret until then, look at how well they hid Skyrim from being leaked until the official announcements at Spike's VGA's.

they don't care for announcing games at E3, because they'd get lost in the tide of cool stuff. they're fine with showing them off there, though.

What happen to "when we show it, were going to really show it"? Sure the article in GI was big.... but unless its the tip of a full blown PR push, its under whelming given the statements that they were really going to show a lot right away.

Yea they don't like announcing games at e3 but they have demonstrations their. Didn't they have a pretty elaborate walkthrough of oblivion at e3?
