In my time of need.

I am having trouble with the quest, "In my time of need." This is the quest that you go and help Saadia or Kematu. Now I have gone all the way through this quest to the point of having to go back and capture Saadia, however I cannot complete this quest, since my character is moral and wants to do some investigating before making a decision.

I still have not figured out who is telling the truth, any thoughts on who might be telling a lie or maybe you can provide your decision and explain why you made that choice; to help Saadia by killing Kematu or by siding with Kematu and bringing justice by capturing Saadia.

This has been discussed many times before and the conscencus seems to be that Saadia is guilty.

Her story does not make a lot of sense, but that of the Redguards does.

She says they are assassins sent after her because she opposed the Thalmor. The Redguards have successfully repelled the Thalmor and are not allied with them.

The Redguards claim that Saadia is the traitor, that she works for the Dominion. This is a better explanation of why she had to flee Hammerfell.

Furthermore, the Redguards take her alive and that is not what assassins would do.

I just leave the quest undone, and keep the two Redguards guarding the front door of Whiterun against vampire attacks. The Redguards' (or Saadia's) story may or may not be true, but they just aren't likeable to me.

There are http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1465110-kematu-or-saadia-this-is-still-a-hard-choise/?view=findpost&p=22835113&hl=%2Bsaadia http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1472567-is-kematu-or-saadia-telling-the-truth/page-3?hl=%2Bsaadia#entry23013283 that go over this question (http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1).

Nowadays, that's my strategy: avoid the whole mess. Plus, the Redguard guys make an excellent anti-vampire patrol!

imo both sides are lying. But Kematu is just a better liar, relying on his tongue and his men then his looks like Saadia does. However I always side with her. I like sitting down in the Bannered Mare and having her run up to serve me.

I think it's supposed to be fairly obvious that Saadia is lying to you. Beth even got heavy-handed IMO with having the voice actress go awkward and a bit monotone with her delivery of the dialogue to tip you off. That was certainly intentional since in all of her other dialogue (Female Sultry - Alva, Senna, etc,.) the voice actress does a credible job. *shrug*
