Say I have a spell - 5 Frost damage for 6 seconds on target.

Is this 5 damage spread across 6 seconds, so;

5/6 = 0.83'

or is it damage times time, like;

5x6 = 30

I need to know whether or not I can boss it with this new spell. Also, this has confused me many-a-time, especially since I have hundreds of poisons - 3 damage for 11 seconds.

For Damage spells it is 5*6=30

Same with poisons as well, or really any spell or other magical effect with both magnitude and duration Confused me when I first saw it as well...
