Timeless Divine Realm

Post » Sun Nov 04, 2012 12:20 pm

In Vivec's dialogue, if you ask him what being a god feels like, he describes a "timeless divine realm" or something among those lines, and if you talk to him about the Dwemer he says he can't sense them in any of the timeless divine realms. Where is he referring to? I'm not sure if he is talking about Aetherius or Z (or as I like to call it, CHIMland). I think that the Provisional House may be a metaphor for it, though I'm not certain.

I think it's a state of mind, no actual place.

Vivec is a god. I'd imagine his "self" exists in all possible realms and times simultaneously.

Of course, now we must discuss the how and why.

Omnipresence is an old concept.
What exactly is there to discuss? The Red Moment was his apotheosis and later he even achieved CHIM.
I think it's allright for him possessing some kind of cosmic awareness.

Figured CHIM kind of referred to the idea of the real life theory of a Holographic Universe or Simulated Reality. In fact, there was a recent article regarding that for which I just read: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/10/11/physicists-may-have-evide_n_1957777.html

From that article:

Like a prisoner in a pitch-black cell, we may never be able to see the 'walls' of our prison -- but through physics we may be able to reach out and touch them.

CHIM is this and more. It's to gain control over the simulation through realizing it is a simulation.
Amaranth would be (I think) to jump out of the simulation and punch the dudes in the face who are running it. :D
