Actually I have two ideas myself for this scenario. Haven't worked much on them but they'd both be sort of a 'prologue' to this crusade deal set a year or so before, not involving Anvil or Sentinel, only the crusaders and forebears in Rihad and Taneth. Don't have any sort of a tidy summary worked out so if you wanna hear my input just MSN me.

To my understanding thats what was going to happen, and I like that idea since I can join in when I return from work and can go ahead and hop in with no problem, not having to be there for a Plot heavy character like Haroun.

Plus it'd add more depth and feeling to the story rather then just saying that these crusaders mingled in with the city folk and became its leaders because they were forebears.

Either way, we'll be fine and have one nice story in wait for us. I apologize for my absence, but I found out not too long ago.

I suppose my character wasn't very well designed for the "pushing along" bit, sorry. I just wanted to try it out, see how it worked. Next time I'll make someone more dynamic :goodjob:

Something along those lines. It looks like there will be a lot more intrigue before an actual war starts, Haroun himself would much rather bring those cities in the Hammerfell Kingdom without having to go to war with it. His armies have been busy the passed few years.

Its one of the funner sides because Ra Gada culture is so alien and different then the rest of Tamriel.

Well if we're putting this on hold how do you guys feel about an RP based on that one quest where you are abducted and placed in a ruin and hunted all 'Most Dangerous Game' like?

I'll pass. Not really feeling up for an adventure RP.

It would be set in an underground Dwemer ruin. Above would be a lush forest. And you would RP either one of the people to be the prey or one of the people who are there to be the hunter. It would be a lot of strategy, out smarting the other person, team work. The hunters would be armed and the prey wouldn't at least not initially. Also the hunters won't be working together as they are going against one another to who can hunt the most for the prize money.

Might be interesting, but I'm not up for it right now.

Ideas:

Aldmeri Dominion invasion of Anvil. Short term war RP.

Most Dangerous Game like RP where people are the hunters or the hunted. Sort of a psychological thriller/ action RP.

Something involving the Morag Tong.

Go ahead and write up the Hammerfell thing.

Put it out, see who'll join. It won't go by too quickly. Story can come in later. Maybe Haroun will actually show up himself if things get a little bad.

If it doesn't work write now, then you have the OP already written. Try something else, and do Hammerfell later if it doesn't work right off the bat.

It would be nice if I had someone who would be committed to leading the "crusader states" faction and who would be committed enough to lead his armies all the way to Sentinel.

I don't like the idea of creating a flunking roleplay and rehashing it later. If it comes out it should be epic and meant to go for the kill. It should be by all accounts, pure win.

Whatever you decide to do Immortal, please take your time and release it when you feel its just right.

I would like to see whats going on with Cyrodil, I'd like to see some hope in the future and hopefully an explanation of why they seem to be getting bullied around by everyone. Maybe a hero can rise from their ranks and begin peacing their culture and country back together.

And a Morrowind Roleplay, concerning each faction's view on how Morrowind is best suited and their attempts to pursue that way. Of course these are ideas being muttered out, and it would seem that roleplays based on random ideas don't farewell. Although I see no reason why these can't thrive if given proper effort and thought.

Post your OP up, and more people are going to look at it, then you'll really know if you have the people at the right time.

Thing is by the time you get back i'll be gone for most of August and won't be able to be as dedicated as usual. I might hold off the hammerfell plot until after August. That's why i'm strongly considering either doing this invasion of Anvil plot where people would RP set armies with specific goals where I would really only need 2 dedicated people, and the rest to follow. And/or have this RP where people are hunted. I know the latter sounds kind of stupid and basic but there is really a heavy story line behind it I don't want to reveal right away. It's going to go a bit beyond just what may be assumed.

If it would give me the chance to actually engage in military action, I would snap at that at once. However, there are always so many delays in these RPs when it comes to getting to the actual fun.

I'm almost 90 percent sure i'm going to go with the Anvil idea. The plot will be that Sentinel is tired of Anvil's meddling in Hammerfell's affairs and gives permission to the Ayuub and Barca tribes (along with other troops) to invade Anvil itself. Sentinel having a fairly friendly relationship with the Dominion also gets help from them who will send an army across Valenwood and attack Anvil from the east. Anvil itself will ally with the Nordic migrants in Colovia who are more than happy to work as mercenaries and get to kill some Elves. I imagine PersonofAnticlere will take the Redguards. This should be a fairly short easy going battle RP where we can wet our beaks.

See, that appeals to me. Greatly, actually. I would love to actually get the chance to RP the war aspect rather than....

"Ok, I don't wanna join your little group. My emissary says no."

"I kill you emissary on the way back to you, and send an assassin after you."

Exactly. Can I get you to take one of the main factions? I can't imagine Person saying no to a Redguard role such as this. If you are sure you can be dedicated enough it would be great if you headed up Anvil itself. Between you and Person that would be a solid RP base for the main factions.

We could always seize Sentinelian merchant vessels, and press-gang their crews into the Anvilian Navy. That's one of the things that really pissed Americans off with the British, and aided in leading to the War of 1812.
