I just traveled from Hong Kong to San Francisco, when I took my phone off of airplane mode my times on all my rooms for resources were at 12 hours, my training had stopped counting down and how long some of my people were in the waste land were negative numbers, and my resources are not being used. I was able to get resource regeneration clocks on the rooms reset by rushing them but you can't rush rooms that train people or the radio room. I'm assuming you are using the phone's clock and storing time stamps to figure out the count down on things, and I don't see you putting the actual time anywhere on the game. Time zones would never be an issue for you if instead of storing the local time you always converted it to Greenwich Mean time before you store it.

You can reproduce this bug by manually changing your time zone on your test phone.
