So, Tinker Tom seems to be this Catch 22 quest giver. The only way to get the xp from doing a quest is by accepting to do another quest... As a person who enjoys clearing the quest log.. this one is driving me nuts. Does he stop at some point or is there at least a point in the game where you can get the xp reward and he won't just hand you another Mila?

He will keep giving you MILAs until you've placed 11 of them for him.

All Railroad radiant quests, or at least ones before you complete Molecular Level, end after a while.

He also gives less quests after you kill him.

I just did them until he gave me the "ballistic weave" mod...after that I killed them all because I sided with Institute...did about 7 when he finally mentioned it.

Thanks for the info.. good to know it's not an infinite quest. You just never know with these quests that say they are radiant. Some can go on forever, others seem to have an ending point.

The fact that he gives you any quests after you kill him is quite amazing. And yes, on my first playthrough I gunned down the Railroad almost as soon as I found them. Des talked to me and asked me if I would give my life for a synth and I said no, then she asked me to leave, and I blew her head clean off. Then gunned everyone else down in cold blood.

Guess which faction that character ended up joining.
