Tiny beefs...

Hello and thank you thank you Beth for re-igniting the flame that has never gone away.

A little miffed with the FarceBook bombardment. It's for the kiddies u know.
Tweet Skyrim and be loud about it!
And the vids are in Ogg format. By no means popular and I don't know what to view them, (saved ones) in just yet.
(haven't looked for anything as just got here).

Apart from that? Hit me with Skyrim!
I haven't read a thing about it but I am expecting it to be as improved as title to title in the past has been.
Just when I build new PC's for friends and wonder how best to intro them to fulltilt amazing gaming? Along comes
SKYRIM!

OGG is actually a better format because it is completely open. Many other formats have clauses with stuff like "we can decide to charge licensing fees at any time for this." That means the other formats are often potentially infinite revenue (and charges) for work that is already completed.

But .ogg is a sound format. How can a video be that? That's like saying, oh I just got this video in wave format, or .mp3... Is there a video .ogg as well?

Err obviously I wasn't paying too much attention to the topic. I was about to check if the topic creator was being serious about new information.

Edit:
I looked it up. It supports video too.

.ogg is a container - Ogg Vorbis is a sound codec. Ogg Theora is a video format.

Welcome to the forums and we hope you enjoy your stay.

Feel free to join in the many discussions around here about Skyrim and find all the little tiny bits of info you can.

This thread unfortunately gives us little if anything to discuss and has and will quickly fill with spam which we don't allow here.

Have a peek at the forum rules then feel free to join in the excitement. There is a lot being discussed here. :)

And here: Have a :cookie:
