yeah, is there anything i missed?

i can think of a few, but not enough for a whole other question

should upped versions of one animal (skeleton to skeleton warrior for example) have more to differ them from underlings? (look at how in fallout 3/nv it is easy to see the ranks of the super mutants or tell the difference between a ghoul and a roamer- perhaps warriors should have iron armour or something)

and on the tattoo thing
a tattoo system would also mean an overlay system, an overlay system could be used for
visual signs of weathering (soot on face, snow in hair, mud on cloths etc)
visual signs of disease (boils on face)
visual wounds
features such as a khajits fur pattern, freckles, age lines, spots, slight help defining muscles etc

Nice; finally a thorough and interesting poll that isn't "vote for obvious answer A". Good job and I'll definetely be following this thread to see how the poll's going

(Oh and maybe you could include some questions about books, alphabets, time passing when reading/lockpicking/etc, proper pricing on supposdely luxury goods, etc)

Am I seriously the only one thinking that one voice for one race is a good idea? I could think of tons of ways that the disk space and processing power could be used better than even more voices. One voice for each race is enough.

The thing is that you're probably the only one who is thinking this far ahead and I don't think you can just arbitrarily decide what's possible and what's impossible anyway.

Having more voices doesn't automatically mean it will compromise the quality of the game in other areas, there are solutions to most problems.

The last section does not use the check boxes, you can only choose one at a time.

Very good poll, the last part needs to be fixed however, you can only select one option.

I want a tattoo from an old (powerful) mage that will boost my magicka or let me summon with less magicka cost etc. Summoning a semi-permanent companion from a summoning circle a la The Bartimaeus Trilogy please.

My votes went along with the norm. Although the last part only me and somebody else didn't want perks. I'll clarify my stance. I don't mind getting an extra something each 25 level gains for individual skills but I don't want fallout style perks that happen every level.

I like the poll. Very thorough.

Great poll, and from what it looks like after I voted it seems that most "sets" so to speak of topics have one side with a majority

i dont think everything is one sided, on most things people have voted for what i like, although i liked fallouts lock picking better, and i would prefer to throw certain types of mellee weapons rather than have dedicated throwing weapons

I don't like how people prefer Oblivion's lock pick over Fallout's. Both are easy but Oblivion's are far more annoying.

Bethesda implemented the "perk every level" system when in every previous one it was 1 perk every 3-4 levels depending on your birth traits.

I think one voice per race is fine...it makes it easier to differentiate when you hear a single voice. However, it should be exactly one voice per race, and distinct. In Oblivion I think there was one voice for all elves, one for nords and Orcs, one for Imperials and Breton, and one for Kahjiit and Argonians.

Oh, also? On the poll where it says "Materials make sense for their weapons/no glass blunt weapons." Well, this gets into what is a blunt weapon. But anyway...the only historical glass weapons I can think of (besides arrow/spear heads) were "blunt" in that they resembled a club. The Aztex weapons with bits of obsidian, machuatl or something. I think they were used to "cut" but it was a wooden club with bits of obsidian serration. Anyways, having a traditional sword forged from one piece of glass seems less appropriate than having a blunt weapon tipped with shards of glass. Yes, it's "sharp," but so are the spikes on a morning star.
