Tiny Little Nit to Pick

Maybe it is just me, but I kind of think that when you look down you should be able to see your character's feet. Does anyone else agree? Has this already been addressed?

I agree completely, not just the feet though the entire body.

Lol, yes, I meant lower body, it would make even less sense just to see some disembodied feet when looking down!

leg and feet animations in most games look stupid. The legs look like noodle legs and are never positioned correctly.

Not always, it is possible and when done right it looks incredible.

Arx Fatalis did it well IMO, and had a great (believable) jump animation.

I think that its possible to mod FO3/NV to show the legs, but you would have to edit every outfit & armor in the game.
(Also... It may affect dismemberment if you do (I don't really know). The game makes everything but the arms invisible when in FPP)

This one outfit that I made does show more of the body than just the arms when in FPP.

* Technically you can see your feet, but its not what you think.

I only know one game that does that, Halo, and the moan I have about it is I'm unable to shot myself in the toes.

Pretend you are shooting yourself in the toes, you are just to tough to fell it. I think Battlefield now has it too, not sure though.

Battlefield 3 has it. It's even more awesome that during most of the cinematic scenes you can actually see your entire body.

I don't think any game let's you shoot yourself.

Also I suggest you play Mirror's Edge it does seeing and feeling your body quite nicely.

Mirror edge looks pretty bad though (for a game like FO/Skyrim)...

(Great game though; Everything except Faith's running animations ~though you can't fault it for something never intended to be shown.)

Arma 2 has visble body done quite nicely (imo), and you can turn your head without turning your body/weapon in first person.

Oh, I've played this series from OFP:CWC (which I still think has one of the hardest and best singleplayer campaigns in any shooter or mil.sim.). Great entertainment, this series. :foodndrink:
