Tips and Thoughts to make Skyrim Perfect

Post » Mon Jul 14, 2014 3:51 am

Hello guys,

I'm a Skyrim player and as all of you have some thoughts about how to make Skyrim even better.

It is a wonderful game but I think has some faults. I'll write down some of the tops I think should

improve the game. Feel free to comment, agree or disagree.

- Heavy armor, as everyone knows have a higher defense rate, is heavier and noisier. Is easy to know

your defense rate. Otherwise Light armor is lighter, make less noise and gives you more “sneak points”

but is impossible to know whit one is better to sneak. So, it should have a “Sneak Rate” for every armor

as well as an improved sneak system, you can hide as well in the dark as in the light and wall straight to

your target and will even notice you. Darken places should be better sneak spots than lighted ones. At last

a “Sound Detector” whit would show how much noise you’re making.

- Other aspect underestimate was the potion making. Is a very useful skill but we don’t really need it

throughout the game. We can make it and have some potion, gain some exp but hardly ever upgrade it’s

perks. Maybe having some mission having potion making as a theme, like search some herbs a make poison

to assassinate someone or a healing potion to save a member of you group would make thinks more interesting.

- One thing that kind of pieced me off was the fact that in the end of all Brotherhood we entered we became

it’s leader. Well I’m not saying to end that but maybe having a choice to accept or not becoming the leader

or choose among it opportunities. Also, why can′t we really control the Brotherhood. Of course we don’t have

the information of were we are needed at the moment, but maybe to create a secondary base and recruit

new members, fortify and construct new bases, etc.

- That leads me to the next point. Gain money had become way too easy and it make the game feels a bit

surreal. There is an option to buy a house and it great, but why not to build your own business? Of course

we wont be able to stay there all the time, but could be an option to hire someone to do the easy work

and you receive messages to do the especial work like enchantment expert potions, and so on.

- This one I’d like to comment separately, but is included at the upper topic. Make Hunting a better

business. There is lots of hunting zones throughout the game but is not rentable. Mining as well, but

mainly hunt. I’ll advance a question of a topic here and say that, if there were seasons, Autumn, Winter,

Spring and Summer, hunting would have some more use. Pelts at Autumn and Winter, leather at Spring and

Summer, etc. And to stock food for heavy winter. That will take me to the next point.

- There is no need to rest or to eat, to hide from the heat or the could, to camp somewhere, to use heavy

clothing during snowy passages and lighter clothing in warmer locations. The climate could be better used

not only in hunting, mining, construction, etc, but in situation to endanger the main character. Built

a camp to hide from a snowstorm or a rainstorm, lightning to break trees that falls in your way, and so on.

use pelt clothes to hunt during a snowstorm, light a fire, use torches not only during night but in

dungeons as well. Modifications like that would make it worth it and fun to travel on foot.

- At last, make travel at night extremely dangerous. Creatures and bandits all over the place and to save

yourself, some bars or huts or even posts so we can spend the night sell some of the hunting. Make sleep

and eat a basic need.

So those are my thoughts, if you agree or disagree, have another opinion comment in the comment section bellow and let me know. :D

Hi, do you like my drawing of Skyrim? :-D

I especially like the beautifully-embroidered designs on the back of the shield.
