The goal of these mods is to make small, low impact, modular changes which are aimed at balancing the game by preventing the player from abusing various game mechanics.
There is also a (very) small emphasis on making two of the skills I'm focusing on less "grindy" to raise.
Currently, I have focused my efforts on four areas: Alchemy, Spell-Making, Enchanting, and finally Ingredient effects.
The readme file contained in the archive has a list of the various changes I've made.
Please note, this is a beta. I've been playing with the changes on my personal install for a couple months now and nothing has blown up, but I provide no guarantees....
