Todays Adventure in the Capital Wastelands

I had great pleasure for 6 months or so playing Fallout 3, but for the past month or so I haven't played it much. When I can kill just about anything with no effort, the thrill was gone.

But then, today, I happened back to the Jeffrson Memorial to see how Project Purity was coming along since we took it back from the Enclave. I found Scribe Bigsley to be one of the all-time most interesting characters in the CW. I ended up doing the "Protecting the Water Way" quest, and that was fun indeed.

So I found the tape and went to have a meeting with Split Jack. Well, I forgot the password, so things erupted in a great firefight. Here's the thing. Grandma Sparkle was right in the middle of all this unpleasantness and when the smoke cleared I dreaded finding her lifeless body in the midst of all the other bodies. But no. And so I turn around and there she is, as good as, well, as good as an old hag can be.

I was happy to find that she wasn't injured. But it was funny that, when I talked to her, she didn't remember a thing. "What's new?" (or words to that effect) I ask. "Oh, nothing really." was her answer. Is the good woman maybe, loosing it?

That's funny she made it out ok. I.... uh..... enslaved her on my last character. She would look balefully at me from the slave pen whenever I went to go talk to Eulogy, and passed by there. In return I would pick up a pool cue and bang it against the fence.

I think she's crazy. Always going on about these son's of hers but has anyone ever encountered them dead or alive? Nope? That's because it's all in the crazy old womans head.

Her other problem is that she is dreadfully undercapitalized. Practically nothng in iventory and just a handfull of caps. I felt sorry for her so I gave here some stuff I took off of those raiders.

Adventuring round Point Lookout. :)

Scary natives. Went in a bit too low at lvl 19 at the start. Now level 21.
Concluded martial arts was not always a good idea when dealing with some enemies. So used the flamer and Eugene to kill swampfolk and mirelurks.
Made some moonshine. Good stuff. :D

Killed Calvert. Killed Tobar. I can ride free on the ferry now. :)

Completed The Velvet Curtain. China did not treat their agents well. :(

Looking for sites in Aincient Ground now. Going to explore all of Point Lookout. :)

Realised I don't have to be neutral the entire time. Just when I am near lvl 30 now. Good and bad deeds here I come. :mohawk:

I think her sons might be in the Anchorage War Memorial.
Spoiler
Who were either killed by the merc, or when the mirelurks got loose
