If Todd Howard gave you one item to fix in Skyrim

The quests are generally well done but they are too short and don't have enough effect on the game world. Especially the faction quests, which is what I voted for. This is assuming the bugs are gone from the game.

The UI is number 1. I figureed atleast half of anyone who had something to criticize would be voting for the UI

The UI is only bad on the PC. Anyway, I voted for underpowered spells. I really want to make a destruction mage, but destruction characters become obsolete around level 35.

The only thing I have issues with is the absolutely painfully disappointing dark brotherhood quest line.

I am actually fine with the UI. I just wish it would register my clicks 100% of the time rather then 98% of the time. It could be better, but for what it is, its not that bad.

Personally I've had no problems on my PS3 so I'll talk about gamplay.

I'd love more focus on Magic, especially Destruction. I am a fan of elements and if there were 5 basic elements (Wind, Fire, Earth, Lightning, and Water) for spells and they were all different like I could make a fissure in the ground or raise ground spikes, or earthquakes for Earth. What would also make it even more awesome, combining spells. This could make Dual Wielding spells much more worth it. Say I had Water in one hand and Wind in the other combining I could create an Ice spell. That would be an awesome dream for spells for me. Also make them more powerful for the future or make them level with you.

More Guilds and interesting unique quests .

But also more "objects" ( weapon types , more craftable items and equipment ) .

I would also try to enhance the blacksmithery : i would add the possibility to put armours , weapons and metal items in the smelter to get ore , the ability to craft arrows , staves and lockpicks , better balance of the skill (crafting better objects like armours brings more xp , crafting simple objects like iron daggers gives little xp ) , more combinations for craftable jewels and possibility to craft copper jewels as well

i would also enhance the cooking system which is currently pointless except for 3 recipes (beef stew , vegetable soup and another one ) , i'd boost the recipes benefits and give them more varied bonuses , would also allow players to completely ignore the alchemy skill which is not really the case currently

Where is the "I cannot improve Drainheart weapons through smithing" option?

See these weapons? http://i42.tinypic.com/4lhd95.png

You cannot improve them. Biggest problem in the game by a long shot.

I'd want movement speed changes back so speed is as strategic a consideration as anything else. I'd focus on faster-movement of course.

also...
The ability to craft arrows.

And gay six, which mods will soon satisfy. Thankfully, mods can satisfy all of this thread's wantings.

Voice actors cost money. At some point youll probably just start using devs and random people you know.

I just want to start playing w/o major game issues. By issues I mean guild quests breaking so I can't finish, a glitchy werewolf camera, etc.

None of the above, I would add the ability to respec your character at the end of the tutorial, that way you won't ever have to do the tutorial ever again. All you would need to do is select your race, gender, whatever custom options you want for your character and lastly you choose Ralof or Hadvor. If you do use the respec, it would reset everything back to default for your character skill point wise.

I can deal with and tolerate most things. But the fact that I know my computer can run this game just fine at 60fps and it still looks like it's stuttering is my biggest complaint. Now if I read this correctly ( somewhere amongst the internet ) this "micro-stutter", as it has been called, is because of the game engine that Bethesda chooses to employ. Namely, Gamebryo. Gamebryo runs at 64hz while the monitor I use is at 60hz and because of this it will make it look like it is dropping frames. ( someone correct me here if I'm wrong because I'm doing this from memory ) So I would basically need a monitor with a faster refresh rate to be able to see things correctly and not get a headache because of the small micro-stutters that happen when my eyes tend to follow the environment around me.

Heavily modifying a game engine and renaming it does not make it a new engine. I'm looking at you, Bethesda. Gamebryo svcks and you know it!

Spells not leveling in power with the player's magic skills is my greatest gripe.

Some magic types especially destruction not scaling at all at high level is an outright broken game mechanic in my opinion. Other than that obviously technical glitches are critical.

the framerate issue for the poor, suffering PS3 players :icecream:

I play on PS3 and worst I've had is three freezes out of 125 hours. Way better than 1 freeze every 30 minutes in Fall out 3 :D and I picked combat spells. I play a warrior/archer and I feel "balanced." I play mage and I feel "underpowered"

I don't know if completely scrapping and re-doing a feature can be classified as a "fix", but if I had to pick, I would go with UI (both functionality and visuals) or a melee combat overhaul.

EDIT: I voted UI because I think it is the worst of the two.
