"!Todd Howard Inside Skyrim!"

Post » Sat Sep 24, 2011 9:22 am

You can say anything you like about what you don't want or like in the game, the fact, is todd is doing the right thing. Oblivion sold more than morrowind and attracted more people.Skyrim is going to take that a step further.....you only have to look at the interest on this forum to know that, nevermind other forums or youtube either. This game will be hugh in my opinion.

Not only does he deserve an appearence in skyrim ,he should be cloned aswell. One can do the fallout series, the other the elder scrolls.
Now that's the best idea ever on this forum.
Thanks,i'm here all week.

I wouldn't mind the idea if he was a NPC like Dar Jee. Somebody who was down and out and you felt sorry for him. Lol.

if you create a living world does that not make you a god. in the game when you do something bad a huge amimated finger should come down from the sky and point at you. and then Todds voice will boom at you. thou shall not!

Now what race would he be?
I say definitely a wood elf :D

Someone do a check of his facial features. See what race he fits!

M'aiq the Liar is the avatar of the devs. Wouldn't putting more of them in be redundant?

most of there names suggest they would be bretons or they could include there characters they play the game with in some secret location.

Why is everyone saying no about this? Its just a bit of fun, get over it. Stop being all serious, its just a game. Why is everyone like "oh my god its going to be so immersion killing with one single easter egg". Id love there to be a cameo in this game, just one NPC that looks like and is voiced by Todd. If you dont like it, you can just ignore the NPC in game or kill it. There we're all happy

Why is everyone saying no about this?

Because our opinions were asked for and they happen to predominantly fall into the "no" category. :P

I'm leaning towards, it's a bit much.... But if there a character that had a similar appearance as Todd as an easter egg, that would be cool.

If Todd would be in the game he would probably be a kid *trollface*

No, I'm not implying he is a kid in real life XOXO.

Just for laughs, giggles and fun why not have Todd Howard and most of the dev team members in the Skyrim game playing characters or even better characters in the main quest. Only through grand master Todd Howard and the dev team members can you receive special items and abilities. They could be tavern owners, stalkers, guards, superheros, supervillains, petty criminals, clansmen, a cult or boss characters. Go face to face with them in combat or fight on their side. See the dev members in one group. Tell me how you guys would feel about about this and how would this affect gameplay for you. How would you feel about fighting along side the Dev members or fighting against them?

If they created doppelgangers of themselves and changed their names to fit the feeling of Skyrim more, that would be pretty cool. I wouldn't want to see a character named 'Todd Howard', but Todil Hovard or something.

arent there like... 100 or so people working on the game?

that would be 1/10 of the game's NPCs who are just easter eggs, and most likely would all be essential...

a reference to todd in-game would be one thing, but this idea is going way overboard.

No, the more easter eggs there are the cheaper they become and the suggestions for them are getting more and more ridiculous. "A guy on youtube made a funny about Skyrim, he should be an easter egg!" Something like a fallout reference and Maiq and leave it there.

I think they should have Blade Runner and Robocop references like Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I am laughing ... SO HARD right now.
Easter Eggs can be funny, but I don't usually spot them due to my unfamiliarity with the joke, and they do remind me that DEV was in that area, making the game. I never had a problem with them, and I wouldn't mind a good, non-cannon laugh at one sooner or later. I don't really care if I do or don't.

I know hes a great guy and all but this is a pretty dumb idea, it would ruin the game by making it too silly and comedic.

Now how in the hell would that ruin the game? Comments like that are what's stupid. :banghead:

I'd love to maybe see a hidden character somewhere in Skyrim of Todd or maybe Pete, would be funny. :P

Warren Spector was in Deus Ex, not that it was easy to tell who it was. I think it'd be fine so long as it's only appearance based not name, voice, or personality.

todd needs to be in game, but as a kid wielding a spear while levitating just before cast recall to someplace far away, and if you find him again he recalls someplace else

all hail todd
