Why the interviewers keep avoiding to ask if the armours will be made of severall pieces or just one single block like in Fallout and partially Oblivion ??? Why they do not ask if a morrowind like system of armour pieces will be back?

there's a schedule of set information that can be revealed until the game's release, that's why most interviews feature many similar questions and answers.

the armor system will only be touched upon when the schedule demands it or when a developer has an accidental slip of the tongue.

- Is there a set number of dragons in the game?

- No, there is an unlimited number of dragons. One of our designers actually put in a random event I encountered, where I ended up being chased by three dragons and I thought "who the hell did this?" I felt like Frodo in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and was really frightened. So I asked him to remove it. But no, dragons are generated automatically (in addition to that there are a number of specific encounters, of course).

Wat.

I thought it was established that there is a limited number of dragons?

Meh.

Well then why don't they just release all the scheduled info that they want togive out instead than making fake interviews? If was like that it woudl sound silly , I think is just that they do not give voice to one of the most asked question on the forums wich is about armour pieces and instead keep repeating the same questions over and over about already known stuff...

Also I am a bit disappointed that you cannot sail ships but not that much after all , it was expected ...
about the number of dragons per incounter I liked the fact that more than one could arrive , it seemed plausible and add a lot of hard gaming in plus , I woul ddefinetly put back that feature at least for the hard game level ....

company rules mostly, but also to spread the amount of information released in order to keep people interested throughout the months until release instead of unveiling almost all the info at the start and risk people losing interest.

The interviews aren't fake, rather, none of the journalists have asked the question you wanted to hear.

If you really want to know, post your question in the Skyrim Fan Interview thread and hopefully your question will be addressed in Todd's upcoming podcast or perhaps during E3.

There is a PR plan in place with a general schedule of when Bethesda will be providing certain kinds of information, screens and footage about key game mechanics, but that has nothing to do with the questions journalists ask. If the journalists ask something they are not ready to reveal, Todd will say something like "we haven't decided on that" or "we aren't ready to talk about that yet."

And as we have seen, so far it seems that some of the European journalists have generally asked Todd more poignant questions, often leading to new Skyrim details made public.

Obviously Todd's original responses were in English. I wonder if we could request an transcript of the original (untranslated) interview. It would clear up a lot of stuff.

Is the fan interview going to be a podcast, or are the questions and answers just going to be posted on the Bethblog?

They also said you'd have to brave the inhospitable wasteland keeping your character alive managing radiation and searching for supplies (oh my char was perfectly fine wandering the waste, its not like they had to worry about anything but enemies, Radiaiton? ha frightning)

In other news my character wasn't fine and I had to worry about radiation to keep myself from going down in stats.

they also said the choices you make in Fo3 would have sweeping and game changing reprocussions in the game. ( I poisoned the water in Fo3...oh wait some random guy, ONE random guy dies lol...I blew up megaton...big whoopdy doo the game is none the lesser for it,)

Poisoning the water wasn't about killing random people, it was about purifying the the wasteland of mutants, you basically make the water lethal to everything that isn't pure strain human, including yourself if you have the dlc which makes you able to continue playing the game afterwards. I like how you just brush off an entire city, because if it doesn't break the game, it's not a consequence! LULZ!

Yeah, in other words challenge all PR talk until proven otherwise.

In other words, challenge is somewhere between subjective and dependent on your character.

Sorry, yeah, I think it will be posted on the blog, probably no podcast.

Where are my werewolves

Todd was mum on that. It seems they are working on horses and Lycanthropy. But they didn't say anything much about the latter.

"ferdighetstre" probably means "talent tree" or something like it, I'm from Sweden and that's what I'd say.

Is it E3 yet?

Man...in some ways I love Bethesda for with-holding so much info and even screens and gameplay from us so that when we get the final product it will be that much better.

In some ways though, I'm dying for more stuff and all we've really gotten was rehashes of the GI demo from Feb. with a handful of new screens thrown in.

Info is so slow right now, can't wait for the next few weeks to go by.

LOL a band of homeless squatters arrive to steal their houses?

Where do new people come from? If we play longer than 500 hours, do some of the children become advlts? Do new children spawn in houses where married couples live?

If nobody has said it yet, I can translate those words for you.
Ferdighetstre means skilltree, or in this case the perk tree. With tidssakke I think you mean tidshakke or tids hakk. Basically it means time jump, jumping in time to make up for stuff that would take to long to play.
Great translate, by the way. I'm Norwegian, so I saw where it got wrong, but still great.

Do you think that could mean "bullet time" or "slow motion," like an effect in The Matrix when you are drawing back the bow to shoot an arrow?

Eh, yeah. Technically it could. That is possible, but I were thinking more of the idea of jumping a couple years forward to get a kid. But bullet-time would be awesome.

Here is the original Norwegian sentence:

Q: – Forandrer ?rstidene seg? En annen ting: da du brukte buen tidligere s? hadde du en zoom-effekt, samt at tiden gikk tregere i det du skulle skyte. Er disse spesialegenskaper?

Todd Howard: – ?rstidene forandrer seg ikke, kun v?ret. I forhold til pil- og buesystemet s? er de nevnte to ulike egenskaper. De har ogs? ulike niv?er, slik at du kan f? ulike grader av zoom eller tidssakking.

I think he is talking about a "bullet time" perk for the Archery skill, so when you draw the bow back, time slows down.

"Ferdighetstre" is directly translated to "skill tree". "Tidssakking" means to slow down time.
