I can't believe he's serious about that tech lmao! Who ever decides putting battery operated electric pulse devices on their timples to make your eye muscle flick back and forth is better than just putting on some glasses is just plain [censored] to me. lol thats a big scientific fail right there my friend

The info is not new, but I suppose the conclusion that it was an accidental slip is. He's mentioned it enough since that I don't think it was on the list of deep dark Skyrim secrets to begin with.

I don't think it was a mistake, I liked hearing the news about the jails. My only fear is that the jail differences might not be truly confirmed in the game like Horses so that's probably why he was blinking all those times.


if the jails end up not being different when the game comes out then im gonna post that video again on here and make a big deal about how he was lying haha

Different prison routines (24 hour confinement versus being forced to work or given time in the yard which=escape opportunities), different quality of security at different prisons or different social dynamics.

Does anyone remember Fable's prison? (The first game)
The prison races and all those other events? it still skipped through time, you just got to experience and plan an escape.

Imagine something like this dynamically put into skyrim?
Maybe still just let you sleep through it, but perhaps if you wanted to you could go through the prison days, slowly planning your escape, maybe attempting to bribe visitors.

But, this all seems like the next generation to me :sadvaultboy:

Thats possible to do on this gen of consoles, it just takes scripting events with different path way options to do it right, you just have to hope bethesda thought of something like this.

Every single interview by Todd talks about the same stuff. Feeling of discovery in Morrowind. Land of the Nords. Battling in their native tongue is like debating to the dragons. New engine. More manpower. Visceral combat. Perks system so you can play how you want. 3D inventory for solving puzzles. Wilderness life that doesn't attack you on sight. Higher resolution textures for PC.

Yet I still watch everything and anything about Todd Howard. I'm hopeless.

That visceral combat gets me every time. Now Todd likens Oblivions combat to "fighting with chopsticks".

reminds me on another interview, he said about the dialogue system: "you can move freely, and when you just walk away they just continue talk... then the dialogue ends"

He said they will stop talking after you go far enough away.

yes exactly!
everyone is saying he did 50 interviews in the same day so he was just tired, but he must have been so tired of saying the same thing that he decided to change it up this one time. maybe he leaked it earlier then he wanted to, or he could have wanted to say it anyways. either way he blinked a lot after saying it and ive never seen him do that anywhere else, and thats all we know.

Imagine if you had an outrageous speed, and the other character was incredibly slow, and you couldn't talk to ANYONE Because you'd never stay in conversation range.

Man that would svck.

Not saying this is going to happen, it isn't at all. But just imagine.
