I can think of hundreds of video games without toilets.
Grow up.

And I can think of plenty of games with them... is this relevant?

There are many spells in TES. They can even summon weapons and monsters. Why can't they just send the crap to the deadlands. Maybe this is the real reason for Merures trying to destroy tamriel in Oblivion :P.

Why do people want such out-of-the-way additions for "immersion"? I say the game is better without toilets.

I'm under the impression that people of Tamriel do not make waste from their food. Their food has alchemical effects like Restore Fatigue. Hence, no toilets. The sewers exist just to take care of rain and things like that.

I thought sewers were made so vampires had a place to live and thieves could sneak?

I want my home to have a john, I know that.Hopefully there will be a reason to eat in Skyrim(a "hardcoe mode").I dont expect them to make us answer nature's call, but puting them in the game would be nice.

But what if you are the kind of adventurer that doesn't want poison ivy giving them a rash in their no-no area?

Or worse... what if it is nirnroot they squat on? Or stinging nettles?

What does this mean? Toilets aren't suited to any particular style.

There were toilets in Fallout 3. There should be outhouses and chamber pots in Skyrim. No, they shouldn't be used.

find a bush, or a street that gets washed regularly. sewers don't necessarily imply functional toilets.

WHAAAaaaaa even wow has toilets

it just makes sense!! and those massive sewer system in OB were just for show??!!

anyway I think baths should be in, and lets not compare Skyrim to medieval Europe, cause only medieval Europeans did not have baths or cleaned themselves while all other cultures on earth did so, like Romans, Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Arab, Greek ...etc etc and some had some pretty impressive baths

ur argument is only true if people in ES world have no anus

You ever see how many torches are in use at any given time?... where do you think they get all that solid fuel from? Each town must have its own fertilizer depository.

The Imperial City is on a hill, it does not need sewers. The rain will runoff naturally.
