A ton of questions about converting

So i've been playing around with blender/nifskope for a bit now and already did some conversion that work quite well.
But when it comes to armor im kinda stuck right now, i know i could use the oblivion mesh (any armor pretty much) and split the parts that are different in morrowind, like pauldrons and gaunts.
Thats not only quite some work but i also know that there is an easier way, just dont know how it works.
Ive been looking at the dread knight conversion Bahamut did and there the cuirass consits of all upper body parts besides the gaunts.
In the CS the pauldrons get their body part data out of that complete mesh too, so i wonder how that works.
If i just convert a , lets say daedric cuirass, from oblivion it wouldnt work that way, if i tried to use pauldrons in the CS with that mesh, every single armor part would display the whole model.
So yeah, how to get it to do what it should?

Also, ive been searching the web all day now and didnt really find what i was looking for, can someone explain the ninode system in nifskope?
Like how to get the exact positions and what i need for morrowind?
