I've played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3. I know you have to wait for vendors to have cash on hand. But there were times in Fallout 3 when it seemed to take vendors a week or more to recover funds, and I'm having the same problem in New Vegas. I actually spent three days in bed (in Nipton), waiting for vendors in Goodsprings and the Mojave Outpost to fill their pockets--and I had already waited days before doing that. THEY ARE STILL BROKE!

What is the magic trick to restoring vendor money and wares? What am I missing?

One other thing, if a traveling vendor is killed in New Vegas, do they get replaced by another generic traveling vendor, or is it like Fallout 3?
