Too many dwellers help.

Post » Sun Feb 14, 2016 2:03 am

So I've been playing since release and I have experienced very few problems till today. I have 190 dwellers and all of them are back at my vault (I had about 25 exploring). I am having a constant crash about 15-30 seconds after my vault loads. I think it is because of having too many dwellers on the screen but I can't get any dwellers to explore before it crashes. I play on iPhone 5s by the way. Is anyone else having a similar problem? Any advice on how I might be able to fix this?

I'm having the exact problem you're having in my population has grown over 150, now it crushed SO f**king often. It's driving me crazy and don't even wanna keep playing anymore. Have raised this with Fallout shelter's support.

Don't know what they'll say.

According to other guys here, what they have done is to send the useless ones to the wasteland and leave them be.

However, doesn't think that's the way to solve the crushing problem.

I've tried send some to the wasteland but it crashes before the game will save. Pretty much just stuck until Beth rolls out a patch

If you have a severe overpopulation you are MUCH better off deequipping your dwellers and starting radroach attacks. They will drop like flies. Trust me.

clear a room leaving 1 with bottom luck and causing a radroach attack. Flee and allow the roaches to spread to adjacent rooms, preferably empty so they can then infect even more rooms. Youll have bodies everywhere in a matter of moments. No waiting. No need to save. Just clear bodies, remove excess rooms, boom. Problem solved.

Didn't think of that. I'll have to try that out, thanks. Hopefully I can do that fast enough before it crashes. Like I said originally I only get about 15 to 30 seconds before it crashes to home screen. Hey now we have a new CTD for a Bethesda game. CTHS, Crash to Home Screen.
