That's... a lot of games. All scheduled for release this year. I don't think there is anyone who wants to buy all of those games, but a lot of us (gamers) probably want a LOT of games from that list, and chances are that we're going to have to choose what games to buy due to financial reasons. I mean no one is going to buy 10+ 60$ games this year. At least no one on an average salary.
That means that a lot of potentially great games are not going to get the attention or the sales that they deserve, which could hurt the developers if they had high expectations for the game and put a lot of money into the production.
What do you think? Is it going to hurt the developers that there are so many games being released this year?
Also, what games do you plan on purchasing from that list? Are there any games you want to buy but you probably won't due to financial reasons?
