I have recently been playing the pc version of crysis over the weekend here. I am a new to multiplayer but managed to level up to 22, so I have gotten in quite a few games and had a fair bit of experience with the muliplayer now. I can honestly say there is too many cheats going on in Crysis 2. Not all cheats are obvious, like being able to see all the players on the map regardless of stealth or proximity or create an unfair advantage like autoaim. Other are more obvious like headshots and such. I will not buy any map packs till anticheating programs are put in place to stop this garbage. All you got to do Crytek is google search Crysis 2 hacks to get an idea of the amount of cheats out there and maybe some ways to watch for cheats. duh!

Yes. The cheaters are seeing all the players on the Map. Aim bot, light speed, etc too.

Lately i've played a lot of games where there haven't been hackers. I think the situation has improved quite a bit. Its been a week since i've seen someone cheating. That in itself is quite amazing.

A couple of months ago, hackers would popup and ruin every game, its far less frequent now, though it still does occur.

I dont think it will ever get fixed. The hackers have WAY to much of the games "online code" to were it does not matter what Crytek does, all the hackers have to do is change one little thing and there back in it again. This does not count for all the hackers, but a good majority of them. Cryteks only hope is to re-release Crysis 2.

That could be one reason. Also the first week or so the was absolutly ZERO hacking security! All anti hack systems were completley disabled!

Ok there was a cheater parano and now there is noob parano.

Yeah it was an ungodly terrible decision to not have cheat protection, totally destroyed the confidence people have in other players. No cheat protection, so all the cheats people made for the demo worked in the offical version, and they didn't have serial checking so there were tons of pirate players.


The last hacker that I banned on one of our clans servers was a week ago. Some noob was using a speed hack.
Once a week isn't too bad, I am looking forward to the rate dropping more.
