Too many sorcerers

it probably also depends on which alliance you were in, aldmeri dominion and daggerfall i expect would have more sorcs because of racial bonus. I think sorc is more fun than the other classes, i made a lvl 11 temp, got bored, lvl 10 dragonknight - bored lvl 15 sorc really fun, my nightblade only got to lvl 5 since i made that last but if you can actually sneak up on mobs and ppl arent just rushing the area ruining ur surprise attacks then that was a pretty fun class also

Actually, I saw a lot of pure casters. I also saw a lot of hybrids. In the heat of the moment, everyone is slinging, powers and magic everywhere, to the point one cannot tell how many are actually Sorcerers.

I thought I was gonna be a sorc tank, but after last beta I'm leaning toward nightblade siphon/bow/resto.

Maybe but their ability to summon pets will always attract people, but their power doesn't stop there, the amount in damage built in CC skills also help them incredibly.

Also they're the class that, if they go caster path, are going to spend most on magicka, meaning they will be effective healers, only other I can think off surpassing them is a light armor caster templar focusing also on destruction magic.

Dk built upon fire dots with 2h stuns will deal alot more damage.
Nightblade with marked for death + haste with great stealth opener damage will also do very good.
Cant say about templars as i havent checked them.

Eso is very well made and there are many viable builds. Those who think sorcerer dont know much about other classes potentials.

Like for DK , DK starts being awzum after you get 2 dots wwith maxer passive but sorcerer opens early then doesnt chance much. In beta sorcerer was strong because we couldnt use all spells we have

Archer-sorcerers were a reasonably common build. So were healer-sorcerers and archer-templars. Archery is a general skill line, so the choice of class is about what sort of support skills you want access to, not about the archery itself.

mage fury is the best ability of all in beta, imo.

its like a much better version of assassins blade, with longer range even after impale....and practically free.
